AnonD-711975, 22 Jan 2018I hope they release this with US frequencies. Agreed - My Wishlist:
-EU and NA LTE: 1 3 4 5 7
-Dual sim with 128 GB and/or dedicated sd slot: a phone this size should have no problem having a separate sd card slot
-Quick Charge 3.0 as before
I would buy it on the spot !
AnonD-730943, 16 Jan 2018Can't more manufacturers make blue phones like Xiaomi? I know right? They're blue, dark blue, navy blue whatever are the perfect blue.
DaXiong, 17 Jan 2018There are a number of Xiaomi devices with band 20 support already (although they could have be... moreLTE Band 20 is used all around entire Europe... that's 44 countries...
LTE Band 28 is only used by 15 countries...

Also for a proper international version they should support bands like 28 which is probably used in more countries than band 20 is (so far only supported on Redmi Note 3 Special Version).
AnonD-722723, 16 Jan 2018Yes, this needs to happen so that it gets better LTE coverage even when going out to the boonies :DNice specification go head but disappointing front camera option just 5mp so ok & may be better camera back side.
Anonymous, 16 Jan 2018Please have US LTE :( really want to use one of these. You are living in the past man... even 5.5 device is not that big... 5.99 (2:1) is almost the same as 5.5 as it is occupied the bezel space... now 6.4 just a bit bigger than 6.0, and this is 6.99 (2:1) and it is almost the same size as 6.4 inch device... hence what is the problem as the size is the same..
As you are using tiny phone, why come to the big phone news?.. This clearly not for you... This is for super media consumption phone, which is many people do this each day...
Dont compare with aging thick bezel your mama tablet... it not even in the same class... tsk tsk tsk.. like compare apple to orange....
AnonD-526553, 16 Jan 2018I hope this time to support Band 20 at 800Mhz for Europe and Rusia. Is rediculus to have store... moreYes, this needs to happen so that it gets better LTE coverage even when going out to the boonies :D
Was waiting to replace my Mi Max with Mi Max 3.. Again my Mi Max is still more powerful than its two newer brothers..
Xiaomi is the new Samsung. Too many devices with weird naming, different chipsets for similar devices (Redmi 4, 4 prime, 4x, 4a ...) and then the Miui updates just don't come for most of the "old" devices. Also, they are opening stores in Europe but they don't support band 20 (800Mhz) in 4G (LTE). No NFC!
And now this thing of putting too big screens on phones. 7 inch phone, really? That's the size of my mother's tablet! It comes with a handbag to carry?
Xiaomi, please, focus on a flagship, mid-ranger, low cost device and one phablet. Not more than that. No more Redmi 5, 5x, 5a, 5 (prime?)...
Ps: I own a Mi4c and I also owned a Galaxy S4 and I think both brands have too many devices and they don't update their phones as they should...
Xiaomi really needs to double down on the camera now and improve it to other flagship competitor levels, Oneplus with the 5T have done a great job with the camera for it's price point. Xiaomi being way bigger needs to use that money on improving the camera and Global releases! In Europe within a couple years there will only be Apple , Samsung and Google. LG and Sony are a dying, and rightly so, they always are a step behind compared the the first 3.
I hope this time to support Band 20 at 800Mhz for Europe and Rusia. Is rediculus to have stores and not all the supported bands.
