I really prefer to be side mounted as before. Also I do not care much about bezels cause I hold it in landscape mode a lot and need bottom and top bezels for comfort holding it.

No matter how good the sensor is, if the hardware is crap and the software is crap, then photos end up mediocre.
Sure, Sony makes great sensors, but they make poor use of it with poor software and image processing, as well as hardware. They have that RAM in between the sensor but then it still doesn't have better capture speeds compared to other brands.
Look at the other brands, they don't have the best sensors, but they more than make up for it by having better hardware, image processing hardware and software.

The design (or rendering?) is definitely not Sony-like. I assume this is fake.
Moreover, if Sony consider returning to USA market, the finger print shall not be located on the power button for sure and it will be like as XA2/XA2 plus.
Anyhow, I will get one Sony 2018 flagship but hopefully it is not like which being posted here.

I like how GSMArena changed their term to "tall aspect ratio' rather than 'widescreen" in 18:9
We handled the phone in portrait position, and to define a narrower 18:9 as WIDE (screen) is confusing..

A 4K OLED display beats every phone out there right now. It has 2 cameras which would be on par with the Note 8 (if they fix their software). People seem to forget that Sony provides sensors to most of the major flagships. The pixel size is also increased for better low light performance. Slim bezels, front facing speakers (are those the dots?), headphone jack (probably). Sony's UI is pretty close to stock (no idea wtf the other commenters are talking about) and is also very fast. It's pretty much the best all rounder you can buy...

No need for 4k on a phone (give us options to edit the screen look for a change like you do on tvs), neither dual cameras (Google proved that with pixel 2, best camera on a phone atm).
This has to be a fanmade concept. The buttons are missing and there is no fingerprint sensor on the back.
