Some small improvements, yes.
But where's the Phablet that was leaked as G8541, with a 6.2" display?
Come on, Sony, you can get a nice big display into a reasonable form factor now, even with loud stereo speakers. If you did, you'd sell an awful lot of them.

Like I said I don’t think that aspect ratio looks good. It’s my opinion that’s all. I have an iPhone 8 by the way.

I wonder how many of the people who whine about 18:9 actually have used a phone with such aspect ratio for longer than a few minutes.
The argument that media aren't optimized for it is moot because eventually, they will all be optimized, just as more and more apps are being optimized for the new ratio.
And too tall? Nope. Yes it is taller than the 16:9 phones but it's not too tall. I've been using the note 8 for more than 3 months. It felt wonky at first, but it quickly became second nature. The taller frame made it easier to hold with one hand, and the ui is such that i don't have to drag from the very top to open the notification shade. I just swipe down from anywhere. This conveniently obviates the need to tap the upper part of the phone. For the most part. There are intances that you can't avoid using the far top end of the screen so i'd have to adjust my grip or use two hands. But i'm not a lazy fart so that doesn't bother me.
And ugly? It's no uglier than your face. But that's subjective so the judgment is up to the beholder with little taste.

Hold your horses there! There are only 4 things accurate about this baby and that's the name, CPU, RAM & storage. Truth is no one is sure if this is XZ Premium successor or addition to the Premium line up like XZs was to XZ.
