Apple are massive liars

There are times when something minor will go wrong, something insignificant which causes little to no issues and their Mac OS will reduce the CPU speed for literally no reason.

There's a youtube clip of a guy who encounters a problem on his mac, the problem is a chip which has failed, the Mac is still operable, Apple diagnostics show a generic error and advise to bring it in, the fix is $700 which is more than the Mac is worth at the time.

The knock on effect is the system recognizes this and then reduces the CPU speed, although there is no need for it, not only that but the $700 fix which would mean a new Mobo is also not needed, the chip itself can be soldered and only costs $2

So if you own an apple device and you believe the crap you're now reading with a very dodgy looking guy telling you it, then more fool you.

Personally i'll stick with my windows 10 gaming rig and my oneplus 5.

PS: The one plus lasts 2 and a half days with moderate usage from one charge :) 1 charge takes 1 hour.

Guess you'll be having a fast charge gimmick given to you by around 2023 - 24 ?

Enjoy

(and a proud one) but how did you get to the conclusion it's marketing? the article focuses quite a bit on the iteration that the user CAN FRIGGING TOGGLE if they want the battery life. or performance! I hate their devices. but Kudos for trying to fix the mistakes.

are this real?! i mean, if you want a slow phone just buy a iphone 4 with latest update...of you want a faster one just buy the newer!

This is just markting since i dont belive that could work, because it wont, is just a option to let people calm down and the phone will be the slower than he already is.

Apple should clean the shoes and dissapar from this earth, we dont need overpriced, outdated and non functional hardware...

OMG, why and when people open theyr eyes?! i mean, people who buy theyr things is really brainless people, people who dont know nothing about phones, since theyr phones is equivalent to a rock those days. "but people only buys because is beauty" - really?! i dont see beauty nowhere in this phone, IS JUNKKKK

"...rational to lower prices of batteries instead of handing out free ones..."

Get down from your f¤¤kin' high horses. Sounds like this guy is doing a favour to someone.

They don't really have to do this and face all of these if they just gave us a generously large battery in the first place.
Okay I'd say this is a good response from Apple, but things could've been better if they were more practical in the beginning.
