Would be nice to launch all range of phones with Sailfish OS to choose between Android and Meego like OS, but that will never happen, I gues.
Return of MeeGo Harmattan interface the first true buttonless UI plus dual 41MP sensors...

Pureview is not just a software, but hardware to. The sensors in Nokia 8 are not designed by Nokia, theirfore, you ain't gonna see pureview in this phone. I see nothing wrong with it's pictures. It is a slow and "glitchy" camera but is something that Nokia might fix in the future.
I think its no Quick fix for HMD Global/Nokia to be a major player in mobile again, with android. But they getting there slowly. They build solid devices just look at Jerry rig everything you see.
They going for markets like India, Indonesia, Nigeria etc..first. The Bric countries to. In Germany now Nokia are no:4 in total sales. I am not sure they will bet at the US market at all beside sales from Amazon or BestBuy. It are almost impossible to get a carrier deal there. Look at Huawei. But Nokia will have a full portfolio from the cheapest dumphone from the most expensive flagship at the end of 2018. The other only brand with a similar portfolio of devices are Samsung (Samsung are no 1 in dumphones and Nokia no 2). So they are the brand who will fear Nokia in the long term.
instead of launching new phones, HMD should also concentrate on giving the already released devices the best they can. like I own a Nokia 8, P10, Mate 10, Iphone 6 and S8 and among all, Nokia 8 has the worst camera despite of dual camera setup with carl zeiss optics lenses. so the pureview technology should be integrated into the existing devices so that the existing users of Nokia could enjoy the same premium feel like my old and gold Lumia 920 and 925. Even i still love using camera of my Lumia 730 rather than Nokia 8.

today is the day that Nokia will have a product launch
we r waiting
don't disappoint us
Waiting eagerly for Nokia 9 launch. Nokia phones are actually awesome those who criticise it are not aware of its build quality and are just stuck with low quality phones who just have developed a brand name and nothing else.

Nokia were always special.
In other brands you pay for a brand sticker on it which means +20-50% of price.

Nokia was here long time before any of present competitors apart of Motorola.
And if we count numbers from which brand from beggining of a cell phone story were bought i guarantee you that MOST SOLD phones from 1978 were with a NOKIA sticker on it. To me nokia was always special and for good price you got an exceptional device.
In case of MC Donald they are so popular because their brand is everywhere.
But at the beggining when they had up to 10 restarants back in 50th era they made a really good and quality food. But as they spread across the world more they are less in quality they offer.
Simillar to Samsung. Making everything and everywhere but with a quality of MC Donald.
CptPower, 18 Jan 2018HuH are you serious?
Nokia is awesome instead of some so called leaders of a market.Awesome? From which side?
Design is boring, camerasare bad, there is literally nothing to differentiate "nokia" phones from other cheap chinaphones. But hmd/foxconn "nokia" phones are quite expensive. Why? What makes it so"awesome"? Fake branding? It's McDonald's for price of good restaurant. If you are in love with hamburgers made from shit that's not making McDonald's more healthy or delicious. The same is this fakephones. They are nothing special for it's prices. You can find a lot of competitors for cheaper or MUCH better for this price.
doesnt quad camera means that it has poor quality..two in front and two in the back..well i dont expect the camera quality to be good
ZloiYuri, 18 Jan 2018I expect fair prices for average chinaphones as "nokia" really is, or something outstanding wo... moreMate, I know you were talking about overpriced Chinese phones. If so you think, then what about Oppo and Vivo? Those are even worse than "Nokia" that you called "overpriced China phone".
They basically don't offer much, nothing to be worthy of their price. Alright, their camera is rather good, but not so much in performance. They have iOS-like UI which I think is rather copycat and slow updates, even if you're lucky to get update. While Nokia is running near-stock UI which is good for fast updates and smoother performance. And don't forget that Nokia phones are known for durability.
Tbh, Nokia's first performance last year was rather disappointing, but they are still in baby steps. I'm sure Nokia can deliver more in the next years.
So here's what to expect from MWC: flagship Nokia 9, Nokia 7 global release, Nokia 6 2018 global release, budget Android Go device, 3310 4G version, possible QWERTY device, possible Asha comeback
Of everything MWC, the Nokia devices are the ones to look out to mostly. I am really excited for what they will show us there.
