Galaxy S10 Going to be a huge improvement, Samsung may surprise us with the tenth anniversary of S series
I've been talking about this for 2 years now. It's about time someone got inventing!
Seem interesting, i wonder how they will resolve the optic solution
Eske Rahn, 18 Jan 2018Phones without a visible earpiece are not new. Sharp has done this for years...Did you honestly just read one part of the damn article ?
It said all the sensors in samsun it means IR emitter IR camera Selfie Camera Ambient light sensor Proximity sensor Call speaker....
All those would be tucked under the display....name one of this sharp aquos phones that have half those sensors under the display
I don't know why people hate bezels. design of Galaxy S8+ is perfect except fingerprint sensor's position. They should concentrate on battery instead of bezels.
Technically, selfie cameras has always been sitting behind the screen. lol
3D Memorys, 18 Jan 2018Inconvenience if people hold on the sensor without sense. dont worry. sony will follow it too.
like the upcoming bezelless oled xperia flagship
Anonymous, 18 Jan 2018They will copy regardlessName that device or keep your mouth Shut!
Anonymous, 18 Jan 2018yes. oled is the best and have very good future.
bye ugly lcdOLEDs have been out for a while now but still couldn't replace LCDs. With problems like, burn in, low refresh rate, hard to achieve proper color accuracy, etc, it's only good for the average consumer. For professionals and gamers, it's a bad choice now and will probably remain a bad choice.
The only tech that is capable of fully replacing LCD, is MicroDOT.
I don't like it, but anything's better (Well, less bad) than a notch.

Anonymous, 18 Jan 2018Amazing. When Apple implements it in the next gen iPhone X, the notch will become smaller. Apple will buy displays as usual when Samsung believes that enough time has passed since they implemented it to sell them and others their new displays, because they would not license the patent for a foreign implementation.
You see this feature in Sam mobiles after 4 years .
So take it easy
If i am not mistaken, i have ever seen some invention in japan, there is glass that look like normal glass with things behind the glass that can be seen through. But when it is turn on, it is actually a display, and everything behind it just disappear.
