Overclocking it will actually do more harm to the phone. Yes, we can expect the manufacturer to put in a fail safe, but for the price, I don't think they can squeeze the resource to do it.
I would say it is already a very nice addition. But truth to be told, unless you are on Mi Mix 2 and Mi 6, the other chipsets shouldn't be affected too much even if you overclock it.
thank you, 18 Jan 2018Hi i dont see my game speed booster and i have miui 126.96.36.199 on xiaomi redmi 4xbeta rom only for now
More and more manufacturers are having this kind of mode meant for games. But adding the change for resolution and clock speeds would be better
"...the feature should be available to most Xiaomi phones running the Global stable MIUI 9 ROM.""
much better guys! hats off to you!
Im using MIUI 9. but there is no game booster felicity in security app. only speed booster only available.
Instead of cheap tricks, like what Samsung, Oneplus, Asus already does, they should've offered to lower the resolution or something along those lines which actually makes a difference, and thus offloading the GPU.
That, would've been game-changing
mischa, 18 Jan 2018These features and more are all in Samsung Game Launcher and Game Tuner apps.and sonyboys keep saying that both samsung and xiaomi have useless features. LOL
It should be tangible with GPU based benchmarking apps otherwise its a placebo, the last time I tried it with S7's game booster app I got similar results to with or without game booster.
Hi i dont see my game speed booster and i have miui 188.8.131.52 on xiaomi redmi 4x
These features and more are all in Samsung Game Launcher and Game Tuner apps.
When you read the title you even can imagine some kind of overclock... then after read the article you discover that is what you usually do in other ways or other apps do too but now through the MIUI UI. Well, another featured added to the UI, another thing to update in future versiones instead of the Android system version.
