IPhone X design wouldn't have been possible without losing headphone jack. If you want to keep headphone jack your phone will always have bottom bezel, which also means you will have to have top bezel so the size of bezel is same top and down.

I understand Apple when they decided to remove the headphone jack. They just wanna make people pay more on their dongles. The fact that iSheeps consider this to be a feature is funny though.

As an iPhone 7 user, I personally don‘t care about it because I don‘t listen to music. If I did, I would probably say that after a year using it, it introduces too many compromises because you always have to carry a dongle for things which aren‘t wireless. But in reality, I don‘t care.

Yordan is 100% right. Ivan should go all "Ivan Drago" on Paul. After all, Paul is only behind Prasad in terms of supporting Apple, regardless of whatever they do.

The 3.5 mm headphone jack should stay. Bluetooth and wireless headsets, USB-C earphones, are welcome, but not at the cost of killing the jack...

Didn't we make this clear enough through multiple weekly polls already? People always vote against removing the headphones jack no matter how you ask it.

What about the millions of people that rely on or prefer it? You dont see them saying that manufacturers should remove the option to use bluetooth buds because they prefer their 3.5mm jack

The fact that this guy actually believes limiting and taking awsy things is moving forward lmfao!!!!!!!
And really? Greater flexibility?? More space?? Water proofing????
Phones have been plenty water proof with them thus far, no phone has had a better design, cheaper price, bigger battery, or notably thinner phone for it.

It is 100% greed and lockdown.
Any claims of otherwise are just naive denial.

Bad decision!! Period. Headphone jack is essential to smartphone simple as that.

I second Yordan. Smartphone manufacturers are doing it for their own benefit.
Not gonna agree with Paul. Look at Samsung and LG. They are not even replacing the 3.5 mm headphone jack yet their phones ard waterproof and they have every essential components inside their flagship smartphones. You have the example of every LG, Sony and Samsung flagships.
3.5 mm headphone jack removal is just to make money for themselves. It is not at all cool. Apple literally effed everything up.

At most, replace it with a second USB-C port.

PS: I use BT exclusively, but like the fallback a 3.5mm jack/USB-C port provides.

I like wireless headphones more than wired ones, I feel more free in movement, less worrying about the cables. I don't mind if they kill the jack, but they should at least put a bigger battery.
