Why they never state any information regarding analog amplifier specifications. 32 bit DAC just means it can decode an convert digital audio, it says nothing about amplifier section.
I've Xperia XZP and I'm very disappointed in terms of audio performance in headphones, I know LG is much better in this department but still, would be good if manufacturers implement some index figures for users to easily identify audio capabilities of a device

The phone maybe sucks, however methinks there's one thing to write home about in this news article: the girl in the photo. Cute!

Flossy420, 19 Jan 2018Oems can't understand and never will understand that lower end market is mostly held by xiaomi... moreIt's a pain the a** obtaining non-apple phones in Samsung/LG country so I can safely say they will sell past that 5000 unit mark.

ZolaIII, 19 Jan 2018Lol... How about just using a decent good priced Snapdragon powered phone with at least midran... moreReally? Maybe you believe myth about headphones warming?
If DAC is bad - nothing will fix it to level of hi-end dac. What about bad android codecs used by most of music player - just try something like Onkyo player. Even on bad Qualcomm dacs it provide much clearer sound. Other things seems like you will combine hamburger inside out. Taste will remain the same. You need to get better meat to get better taste.

Just wondering: which model/s is/are the competition for this LG? Obviously it's audio-centric survivor for the masses, but I'm still keep thinking that SD 450 + 1 gig more RAM would make it more attractive. Doesn't look bad but still something is not right.

Oems can't understand and never will understand that lower end market is mostly held by xiaomi, offering mid range phones with ridiculously cheap prices

A lot of people and especially those with low income would prefer to spend 150$ on a midrange from xiaomi rather than 250-300$ for a low end phone from reputable brands

This phone will be a disaster in terms of sales. I would be very surprised if they manage to sell at least 5,000 units

People got used to have phones that are more fragile the more money they cost. So its just DAC to win hearts. Shamefully I like more L2 from sony, thing is X4+'s look is too outdated. What you think?

Great competition to the Xperia L2.
As much as my nickname suggests, some other devices like the Huawei Mate 10 Lite/Nova 2i/Honor 9i/Maimang 6 are better.

It seems like each of LG’s lower end devices (compared to their main flagships, specifically G and V lineup) have at least one goodie from the flagship.
For example, the Q6 gets the G6’s FullVision 18:9 display, while the Q8 gets the V20’s secondary ticker screen with flagship hardware shrunk into 5.2” screen.

ZloiYuri, 19 Jan 2018LG fans one of the most inadequate. LG don't making something good for years. And always overp... moreLol... How about just using a decent good priced Snapdragon powered phone with at least midrange SoC with an 3.5mm jack & use Neutron & there you have it 32 bit mid range DAC.
