when you think about it, it's design is current enough for a new variant. It just needs some dope update like App Pair, palm swipe capture, better always on display, maybe even an always on display notes like note 8, and similar features Samsung got. Also, it must have SS 845 and 8GB or ram to stay competitive or both with 128GB of storage. That's how it can win
Already obsolete when released again?
PapaRafe, 20 Jan 2018I would prefer SD835 but with upgraded 6GB RAM and 8MP f1.7 front-cam Per GSM Arena specs, a 6gb ram Korean model is listed in in about the V30.
how about "LG to introduce a phone that finally won't break right after warranty"
AnonD-723538, 20 Jan 2018Maybe LG needs to clear it's V30 inventory?Lol maybe
LG superfan, 20 Jan 2018But G7 isrumored to be unveiled in march so I dont see the point of itMaybe LG needs to clear it's V30 inventory?
AnonD-678640, 20 Jan 2018Wasn’t a fail actually. Just under appreciated.*Over* appreciated . It was obsolete since its release the fact that it even sold some models is a testament to people's misunderstanding of tech.
Anonymous, 20 Jan 2018How is it a fail when it is one of the best smartphone? G6 is probably the worst flagship of 2017, it manages to be worse than S8...
Basically same SoC and RAM as its previous year's iteration, bigger yet less wide screen (the dimension that makes a screen comfortable to use), 90 times slower to charge (fast charge instead of popping a spare) , far smaller battery (3300 mah, instead of 5600 mah of G5 when carrying a spare) no IR or FM, worse camera in daytime with less detail.
Its only goods is/are: better camera at nighttime (but not by much), waterproof (important to some)
Neutral: It's taller, that's a bad for some people, a good for others.
Really , 19 Jan 2018SD 845 isn't produced by Samsung but by TSMC so why do you think Samsung bought out all the st... moreJust because they manufactured it does not mean that they own it. They were able to gobble it all up because they struck a dwal with the owner, Qualcomm.
Expand your marketing!!! Phone released early but the availability so bloody limited and takes ages to release on the market.
g6 user, 19 Jan 2018well they are not unveiling any new phone so v30 is still goodBut G7 isrumored to be unveiled in march so I dont see the point of it
What a dumb decision
AnonD-708551, 19 Jan 2018They still learn nothing from last time? People want SD845+AI now, not SD835 again. Not a lot of normal usage people care, unless they are like that dude who digs deeper into tech stuff and catches a certain manufacturer slowing down their products.
AnonD-625430, 19 Jan 2018What can AI do? It can't even do scheduled stuff like opening the browser at a certain time, v... moreExactly.. With many of the flagship phones having google assistants, Bixby , siri , am yet to see a single guy speaking to the phone to get things done.. These are all unnecessary gimmicks which have zero usage in real life scenarios .. For eg. this new LG v30 should have a better selfie camera and take care of the display issues which some old lg v30s had.
AnonD-715008, 19 Jan 2018Always appreciated LG in past. If LG won't launch LG G7 and instead launch this weird stuff a... moreG6 was already a fail (worse than G5), why would you need a G7 ... if anything they should had stopped with G5... That way we would still be getting support to one of the best LG phones ever (along with V20)...
I love LG V30.
hopefully the screen will be good this time
