Andy, 21 Jan 2018This is online only deal. In store still 650CAD.Incorrect. At dual-brand dealers (Telus & Koodo) they can stock the Essential, and existing upgrade/replacement offers allow it to be activated on Koodo accounts. Or you can just buy it outright and do whatever you want with it.

Frankly, I love the phone.
Specs and materials are top notch.
And with recent updates, software and functionally caught up with the best out there.
Only thing remaining is exposure to the public... it is only sold in North America and even there it is largely unknown.
People keep asking me what is Essential?

Can you show the BF deal when it was CAD $360, couldn't find anywhere.
It was US $400 on Amazon.

It is quite inexpensive... But people are still gonna get the CAD 10$ more expensive A5 2017... Guess it lacks proper advertisement. Really a shame as this is a very promising device

Lol, after I posted the site had an advertisement from Koodo, but only for full price S flagships. It really lacks proper advertisement because this is miles better than the 200CAD more expensive OP5T (at least they do not resell your CC)

After they failed with their design-only concept, they gone with plan B which was to make it as cheap as possible to compete with OnePlus and Honor in the western states.
