Sony has become a mere trend follower.

And there goes my decision, that my next phone would be manufactured by Sony.
Probably part of Sony, that manufacture their Bluetooth headphones, had this bright idea.

Becoming a battery hog to your phone when connected. It is great and all being wireless but our main problem is always battery.

I just really, really hope (!!) this is all about implementing 4.4 mm jack and balanced wired stereo headsets from their hi res Walkman series on a smartphone...
That could explain moving standard 3.5 mm option to USBC with dongle....

Else...gudby Sony.

Then it must be the world's slimmest phone. Be positive.
And if it's not, then the hell with Sony.

Such an idiotic trend. Apple makes money with 3.5 mm removal all others keep losing customers.... And they never learn from each other. Sony will die for me the same day they release phone without 3.5 mm jack (until better alternative is in place).

Sony just announced that it would focus on mid-range and flagship devices from now on and now its thinking removing the headphone will be a good idea for mid-range . really ? i doubt it and doesn't really care if its going to work for Sony .
