F1rstman, 22 Jan 2018End of June lol. This is one of the reasons why I use iPhone. It's not "end of June", it's "by the end of June". At least learn how to read...
Kind of makes sense for this move by LG .. recently there is this news where they had to scrap the whole G7 project for completely new project from scratch and hence even the launch of G7 is postponed. Looks like most of the resources are gone in their new G7 project.
I wonder what excuses a multi-billion company has that it can barely software support 3-4 devices. Its really freaking intriguing.
Wow, just wow, even Samsung is not as late as them for Oreo, I wonder is there is some difficulties for OEM to implement Oreo update, even by now there is no official LineageOS update yet.
pt020, 23 Jan 2018No need for an iPhone,my Sony has 8.0 since October.Sony is my favorite brand in the Android world. Maybe I'll buy XA2 to use for fun, next to my iPhone 8. Apple and Sony are the only premium phone brands imo.

Cornel, 22 Jan 2018Why so fast? Take your time.Take your time? Dude, at that point of time a newer ANDROID version will already be announced, and yet they just released ANDROID OREO...it ain't early anymore for LG...
Is the US graced with this June waiting period for Android Oreo as well? Still very little information pertaining to the US update from other sources.

That's why I buy Xperia, I've been with oreo since October in my xzp
This is a nasty spit in faces of costumers. This is a joke. If I were Google, I would give sanctions to OEMs for such behavior. Treble is just the very modest beginning, and Google must go deeper into modularizing Android: Vendor partition, OEM partition all split from core OS..Until the result is that Google would update core OS directly even on a phone like Huawei and Samsung.. #Utopia
