Kind of makes sense for this move by LG .. recently there is this news where they had to scrap the whole G7 project for completely new project from scratch and hence even the launch of G7 is postponed. Looks like most of the resources are gone in their new G7 project.

Wow, just wow, even Samsung is not as late as them for Oreo, I wonder is there is some difficulties for OEM to implement Oreo update, even by now there is no official LineageOS update yet.

This is a nasty spit in faces of costumers. This is a joke. If I were Google, I would give sanctions to OEMs for such behavior. Treble is just the very modest beginning, and Google must go deeper into modularizing Android: Vendor partition, OEM partition all split from core OS..Until the result is that Google would update core OS directly even on a phone like Huawei and Samsung.. #Utopia
