I hope they eventually get around to fixing the problem that keeps Nexus 6 from working on the Pioneer AVH-2300NEX.

I wish they fix the music volume changing when a message or call comes through. It goes from loud to soft to anywhere in between.

They should fix the problem where you're only allowed so many taps before it'll lock you out. Also, where you can't use your phone while driving, like at all. Apple carplay allows you as many taps as you want, and lets you use your phone.

Having Android on your phon... moreAndroid Auto is not an OS, it's an Apk that relies on its sister app installed on the phone to stream information computed by the phone. It doesn't replace your car's "infotainment" system, it's only an app inside it.

Now why would you want Android infiltrated in your car's systems?
Having Android on your phone is one thing. It's pretty harmless - except you can lose all your passwords, accounts and money if you do online banking through your phone, and hackers can spy on you very easily.
But having Android infest your car... that's a different story. Considering a car accident can be fatal, why would you allow anything Android to get in touch with your car's systems? It's a very unreliable OS, with a predisposition to trigger bugs, allow hacks, and generally a whole bunch of things that can be life threatening when inside a car.

Thanks, but no thanks. Android is fine for general phones and toys, but never an option for serious things.
