Some ZTE Axon 7 phones in the US now running test version of Android Oreo Comments

I own the Axon 7 and it's a great device. It has been a bit slow to receive the Android 8.0 update, but I'm trying to refrain from rooting my device. Overall the phone is almost perfect for my needs. The specs are on par and the only thing that might feel dated is the Snapdragon 820, but everything else is great. The speakers are only in competition with the new Razer phone. I think the new update is going to bring the needed changes to the device to fix the software, so I'm hyped for it. I would still recommend buying this phone even in 2018.

probably they are busy making slow version of android.

KMB877, 23 Jan 2018Axon 7 still be a great phone. SD821 obvious obsolete now, still be powerful enough. How is the SD821 obsolete ? It barely is 2 years old.

Good news.
Good phone overall.
Using it around 6 months.
One drawback the navigation buttons not back light. So it is difficult to use it under low light.
