Anonymous, 23 Jan 2018While others only could add it to.oled, JDI could add to LCD too. Japan is better than KoreaSome pretty odd people around here. An entire country is better than another one because of this news?

The flagship can have slim side bezels like the XA2 Ultra with that FPS tech on the screen. That means no FPS on the back! Thank heavens
Some Sony fans just like to bash other brands by purposely misspelling their names and technologies. This is so juvenile.
SohailSays2, 23 Jan 2018Just look back in 2010 and look now. How the tech world has evolved within a few years. I wond... moredont be soo excited.. we allready touch some limits..it can`t evolve in the next 10 yearrs as much as in the last 10 yeas

I'm really hoping to see this tech in future's Xperia phones! :)

They did collaborate with ARM long ago but even then the ARM architecture already existed, so your point is invalid. In this case, JDI is a joint collaboration of 3 companies started from scratch, so I'm sure Sony IS actually involved.
And the point is that people tend to glorify everything regarding Apple and Samsung with ignorance towards the rest.
JDI ( Sony, Toshiba e Hitachi) could do it easily.
Sammy could not ...
