AnonD-521016, 25 Jan 2018This is proof again that Xiaomi Apple’s copycat :D. iPhone Mi 6X :D. Looser Xiaomi :D They only copy the design for the cheap Mi series phones. It's more of an insult to Apple really. It looks like an iPhone but with enough changes in the design to avoid lawsuits from Apple. Their proper flagships (Mi5, 6, Mi note 3, Mi Mix 1, 2) look much better than any iPhone ever did.
And as far as a regular user is concerned, it can do 90% of what the iPhone X can do at about 1/5th the price.
I'd say Xiaomi is the winner here

Going forward i think we might need to use palmtops / tablets as mobiles... I like full screen mobiles, but they could ve done the same in 5.5 inch. Not sure why every company / brand is launching 6 inch phones with 18:9 display.

A 5.99 inch screen is going to make this a tall phone. I'm not a fan of 18:9 ratios. Phones should be bezel less but not bigger. Maximise the current footprint.

I hope Xiaomi mass produce Surge S2 because that processor is something a Samsung Galaxy S7 used to have and it's still a good phone plus the 6X a.k.a Mi A2 will be sold as a criminally low priced midranged phone.
This is definitely a major upgrade over the overrated SD625.
