Well in my country LG stands for "Lapo Goods"...meaning inferior goods :)
I used to respect LG because they were the only ones who produce phones with removable battery. I started hating LG since they stopped using removable battery and started folowing the crap glass unibody, non-removable battery, bezel-less, 18:9 screen, curved edges/corners trend. Since then, I wished them low sales, profit loss, and I wanted G6 and V30 to bel flopped, failures. Because I hoped that this way they will learn their lessons and will go back to the G4 and V10 design (removable battery, IR blaster, flat screen, LCD screen) for their future phones (and fix the bootloop and shattergate (fragile camera glass) once and for all).
LG really need to shake up its mobile division and G7 should be feature packed with IR blaster, sd845, volume and power button on back (really love this placement) much better dual cameras, 6gb ram, and removable battery (which wont come back), 4000mah battery, better screen (stick to lcd if oled is not ready) and feature packed skin and better updates (security patch in atleast every two months and three years of major updates) even some android one phones and some gimmicks (I love gimmicks like secondary screen, knock on etc)
MarcioR, 25 Jan 2018success? 90% of all the Nexus 5/5X suffer from bootloop problemsSo what?
With this chance they can rectify the mistakes and make nearly error free gadget.
Mistake is not the last thing in life. It can be rectified.
I still do understand why LG mobiles are declining?
1.Their commerical ad are the worst. More of fighting with Apple or Sammy.
2. LG is a wanna be of Nokia falling in 2014.
3. Too pricy, but not greedy.
4. Market share and volume are powerful in domestic countries, but not in international.
5. ( STOP IT, GET SOME HELP!)
Anonymous, 25 Jan 2018Adding Sony to that list...Sony has even bigger budget this year.
Why do you think they could switch from mediatek to qualcomm inside xa2?
Also metal body, fingerprint scanner e way bigger battery?
My mother had one LG phone. That one with Firefox OS. Nice looking phone but the OS was very limited because there was not apps enough.
She gave it to my brother, now he has a Lenovo phone. But the LG still works.
My experience was not good. My G Pad had a few scratches on right side of screen. Then a huge crack showed up on the left upper side. Half of screen does not work.
I guess it also has ghost touch.
Sometimes it restarts if I play videos from Opera/Chrome, the lower left corner of screen now has light bleed.
Anonymous, 25 Jan 2018LG, HTC, BlackBerry... Just give up, you're toast!Adding Sony to that list...
Anonymous, 25 Jan 2018LG, HTC, BlackBerry... Just give up, you're toast!the companies you have listed are one hit wonder companies LG V30 , HTC U11.
LG Mobile continues decline but lowered their operating loses and LG as a whole posted higher profits. Decline my arse.
News around the corner - "Xiaomi will update 40 devices to MIUI 9", Something LG is lacking big time
Anonymous, 25 Jan 2018LG, HTC, BlackBerry... Just give up, you're toast! And then what ? We all buy everything from one manufacturer ???
Words "premium smartphones" and "lg" are similar to "delicious mud". LG producing overpriced badphknes with lowest quality. "Premium" meaning isn't about price
LG v30 is better than lagsung galaxy S8 yet advertisement brainwashed sheep prefer crapsung
Thats what happened when customer loosing their faith.
LG made really good phones(hardware), but when it comes to software, it is disaster.
They are worst in terms of proving software updates.
G4 did not receive nogut till date, which they have promised long back.
My next phone will be from oneplus for sure.
LG might post low record, but I admit their device is very good.. My brother use LG V20 and it amazing..
