It's simple if they can do this - turn to Nexus like device with pure Android.
All Nexus phones under LG have been great success. They just have to get back to it, only not naming it as a Nexus.
Even with slight changes in NEXUS 5X hardware ( to suit the current trends in bezeless and 18:9 ratio ) and top up with a pure Android software, they will hit the success button again.
Half the game is won, thanks to decision of releasing few focused devices.
Lg phones always seemed good but were very low on quality if not even worse than the cheap Chinese phones.Upto the lg g5 and v20 all lg phones were prone to bootloop, let's wait for the G6 to complete a year and hear the Fanboys cry bootloop.
Seriously the media and reviewers should highlight the low quality of LG phones more often instead of performing dumb bend and burn tests on iPhones and galaxies.
Lg low end and midrange phones don't have competitive pricing or quality compared to samsung.
Yes they must keep the g4 and v10 design.nowday phone look iphonish and look the same.
Lg phone is so limited. Marketing suck compared to their home appliances.
FiDo, 25 Jan 2018LG could do better, they need to keep the things they do different from others such as back mo... morei somewhat agree. IR blaster is whatever, but they def. need features and gimmicks that pushes a consumer. Better yet, software features. I wanna be able to do things with my phone like Samsung. App pair, palm swipe to captures, better Always on display, maybe even a screen off note pad button on tge always on display. something that makes it special.
LG could do better, they need to keep the things they do different from others such as back mounted volume keys and power, IR Blaster in mid and high end, good screen to body ratio, removable battery...and now its time to LG give us stereo speakers and keep the headphone jack.
Today there's no more LG Bootlooping problem since V20 so, no worries about it.
Doing this will make LG profitable again for sure!
