I've had mine for about 2 months now. It's so smooth in operation. It's even taken over from my laptop for many jobs. My only criticism is the battery life is pretty appalling. It needs charging every night(once my wife has finished playing games on it)

Anonymous, 27 Jul 2011Its not faultless. There have been users complaining about overheating.I've been using this phone for 50 days now, the overheating problem did indeed exist on running heavy apps and games, but it's completely solved after the recent official firmware update(KF3)

This Galaxy S2 is VERY different when you hold it in your hands. Much too huge and too plastic one.

Lets stand back and look at this.
We should be praising or passing constructive criticism on the headlined device topics; this might contribute to better phones.
Why do certain people just warship brands? Are they paying your mortgage and putting food on the table?
Companies exist to make money, nothing else. You are nothing but statistics for quarterly, performance, XL presentation.
Wake up and smell the coffee (whatever your brand is!).

please US carriers . . dont change a thing . . dont even label it, att is already releasing the s II slide why put a slide on the thinnest phone every released . . they are so annoying ! ! . . which i think defeats everything Samsung has going for. please TMO leave this phone as is and unleash this beast ! ! !

Me and my mate bought sim-free handsets and are enjoying using our devices without asbestos gloves!
Is this just a coincidence? Hmmmmmmm......

I'm quite sure that iPhone 5 is going to sell more this year.
For galaxy s2 to beat iPhone 4 sells it has to gain sells every month and need to do that for long time, first galaxy didnt, iPhone did, best sells after year :)
Reason: big phone, galaxy s2 size phones are not for everyone, smaller phone has much bigger potential to get huge sells numbers.

Stafia51, 27 Jul 2011Not worth the price, I had couple of problems witht he phone: - Speaker next to mic - Cheap ... moreSensitive screen? Of coz it shud be sensitive, thats how capacitive touch screeen works..if its not, im sure u'll complain again that its not sensitive. To solve it, dont use touch screen phone..buy phone with keypad or qwerty keyboard..haha. Lack of support from local dealer? Ooohh..to bad bcoz that's not samsung fault but the fault of your local dealer. Solution is find other dealer, i'm sure there are alots of dealers in your place.
