I don't need flagship anymore. Mid range is enough now. At least many people need 2GB ram and 16GB storage with micro SD card support.

It was basically the greatest upgrade in the history of iPhones. Yeah it doesn't seem to have sold well, but that doesn't negate the *fact* that 2017 was not a slow year for all the manufacturers. Meaning that the tech is potentially there, most OEMs simply choose to not utilize or at least seek it (research it).

[deleted post]Geeks always think they are the best part of human being but in fact it's vice versa. The same logic - if you buy a car - you need to know how to maintain it. It's stupid and it's wrong. People have to use things flawlessly and don't think about anything but what they really needed. It's a OS designers we have to blame in such situations. Once my friend said hes phone were out of space. Actually it had to be a huge amount of free space but Facebook app cash were 12 Gb and Instagram were 4. Now please tell me, how OS developers forgot about cash purging? It tryed to delete pics, music and rarely used apps but not to purge the cash!!! Do you know why that happening? Because Android is written by the same headless geeks who think they are only and one. Like you are.

Since most of the devices are sold from carriers, it is not strange the numbers in EU look like this. The USD is about 10 % cheaper converted to euro for last 5 months, but the carriers prices are flat in euro, they never go down, only up to compensate. Definetly the devices are more expensive, but not with 30%.

I doubt someone can keep it 4 yearsMan have my Lenovo Vibeshot from beggining and i am heavy gamer and works like a brand new even after almost 3 years. Dunno what you talking about. Now i am using as my primary phone Moto X and its powerfull as any flagship.
Sister of my girlfriend have S6 Samsung and phone is almost dead its even slower than my vibeshot. And we speak about 2 years old phone which brand new cost 700 eur.
Many of my customers bought budget chinese phone like Nokia 3 or Lenovo K5 pro Xiaomi 4A and almost noone were returned for complains. You have no idea how good chinese phones are.

Man flagship last 2 years then Samsung or Appple will slow your phone trough updates.
So for that i dont need 800 eur phone. If a 150-200 eur phone can last 2 years 800 or 1000 eur phone is waste of time because you wont keep it that long anyway. Most people change their phones everytime its sucessor its unveiled.
