Charting the future of Graphics for Mobile Netwroked Device (Tablet/Smartphone)

With the advance into the Galaxy S2 lineup and Super AMOLED and beyond the E1205 would, hopefully, be yet another of Samsung's development into future HD graphics resolution. Yet obviously a single core CPU and the older GPU in this device won't allow for 720p or 1080p playback at 1:4 ratio or better on a smartphone.

Without utilizing their Exynos 4210 CPU technology (or similar Qualcomm or TI CPU's) and a next generation GPU this device would either be a test platform or at best a tablet lineup of moderate capabilities.

Let's hope it is just that; development. And if a mobile phone that Sammie pushes the screensize to benefit such technology. Personally we hope it'll also be used to foward full QWERTY kb's into 4.x" devices despite any bulk. The qwerty crowd is awaiting this and isn't concerned with ultraslim as requisite.

Android 4.0 is coming and quadcore CPU's and 3rd generation GPU's allowing the OS to utilize advancements generationally. And with manufacturers beginning to abandon the UI and flash lockdowns maybe Samsung shall lead the way with fully opening up open source capabilities. It may have to begin outside the North American markets until N.A. MSP's (carriers) realize this has to be the future strength of the "droid". JOHO

I'm guessing it'll be a 4inch screen. Most DOCOMO Sharp phones have this kind of resolutions already. Too bad it's in the Japanese market only. But I hope we can finally taste true 720p videos on the phone despite the small screen!!! =)

Hi my dear, this phone cannot be an old abandoned model ..
WxGa is a wide extended graphic screen and it praised higher than 720P screening quality...
so i presume it a enhanced prototype from sammy

I guess this is the 7 inch tablet/phone hybrid that runs on Gingerbread that was rumored a few weeks ago. I might get one since Nokia doesn't have a tablet out.
