The S8 and S8+ are really beautiful phones and my aversion to the edge models are fading slowly. But I can't buy these as Samsung only offer the Exynos models in my neighborhood an no point in ordering from elsewhere due to Samsung's region lock. Exynos offer very poor support in camera APIs so third-party apps have no control over post-processing (noise reduction and sharpening).

Why would samsung go with bezels again? Images are yet rumored and you can expect something really competitive in design at least to its predecessor S8.

Oh. My, the s9 has lost the s8's sleek and refined look while adopting a. Boxier thicker. Bezels from the A8 design. Even the curve seems not so prenouced. This is purely speculation from looking at renders.

Anonymous, 27 Jan 20182018 the end of under 5.5" screen size. Because the 18:9 aspects ratio would it too narrow.
No point in making smallprint 5.5 because this size is supposed to be a proper phablet with 16:9 aspects ratio.
With 18:9 aspects ratio, manufacturers use more diagonal length than 5.5 inches, otherwise the phone would be relatively tiny and rather diminutive.
