They have custom ui, custom apps etc. Chrome os is purely made by google so it is a standard in all devices and so Also easier to upgrade and manage. It is just browser that allows the use of web services!

Closer but I want an ordinary Desktop Linux distro on my next tablet.
Ubuntu had one but they never reached stores.

Most people use only the same few functions in Windows like the browser and email and Chrome does those just as well.
