no phone needs that much ram though it would be nice..a phone doesnt even need 8gbs of ram...hopefully they got got battery size
AnonD-456831, 29 Jan 2018If it was LG you'd probably believe it.No
My home laptop still has 4 gb ram and 320 hdd and is holding a lot of shitloads then i can put in any phone......... Just wondering which app would someone want to run will need this much ram maybe they will be providing options of running VMs in mobiles ....maybe mini web server in mobile in future....xD
Unnecessary upgrade they put in a smartphone.it's just a tech war. Not a laptop or a pc that you using it much needs for multitask and real intensive work! Complete waste of space and money.example just like old nokia n97 with 32gb storage at that time even the phone still cant play full HD mpeg-4 vids or HD games or internet browsing.
VIVO ( and sibling OPPO) should rather put efforts towards improving security and software update supports rather than simply increasing RAM.
Seems VIVO OPPO have habbit of doing everything that others do - increase ram, foldable phone, under screen fingerprint scanner, and so on. Doing everything doesn't make them leaders, but it actually makes them good with imitation / mimicry.
AnonD-468012, 29 Jan 20182GB RAM is enough!!!!noo min is now 4GB
Anonymous, 30 Jan 2018Lul, pretty much "Marketing Gimmick" so they can overprice their junk..... 10GB on a phone?... moreLet's not forget under the screen finger print sensor, with this they'll charge flagship price lol
Anonymous, 29 Jan 2018In the mainwhile, I'm still using my lagfree 2gb of ram phone, running android 7.1.2 the same ... moreSeems like you never used an iphone, optimization on ios is second to non, graphics and FPS for example on high end games looks much much better on iphone 5s compared to latest beef up specs on android
Lul, pretty much "Marketing Gimmick" so they can overprice their junk.....
10GB on a phone? Not like you can multi-task AAA 4K PC Games @60+fps while stream recording/casting....
Rex Tech, 29 Jan 2018They can put 32 Gb of Ram if they want to but if it's not optimized it like shooting empty bul... moreReason why manufacturers keep adding RAM is to try and mask the real problem and that's 2017 mobile OS acting like Windows XP leaking memory left and right. Problem is so big that in order for Google or anyone to solve it is complete rewrite. Same thing goes for UI stuttering, Android is the only mobile OS ever not to have UI caching as it does everything in real time. That's why scrolling always feels flimsy like it's sliding below your finger unlike solid scroll feel of iOS, WP, BB10 or Maemo.
CptPower, 29 Jan 2018Hope it will have price of Mi6 and this could be best phone of the year.vivo isnt cheap like xiaomi man
They can put 32 Gb of Ram if they want to but if it's not optimized it like shooting empty bullets. We need well optimized ram, powerful to handle all apps. Also depends on the ram clocked size.iPhones ram is like 2-3 but it's clocked at 3 or 2.4,Vivo has 6 but clocked at 1.6 (note this is an example and it's not true since i am talking for an example from pc ram).
Specs ain't everything, software optimization and smooth UI it's what matters.
