My home laptop still has 4 gb ram and 320 hdd and is holding a lot of shitloads then i can put in any phone......... Just wondering which app would someone want to run will need this much ram maybe they will be providing options of running VMs in mobiles ....maybe mini web server in mobile in future....xD

Unnecessary upgrade they put in a smartphone.it's just a tech war. Not a laptop or a pc that you using it much needs for multitask and real intensive work! Complete waste of space and money.example just like old nokia n97 with 32gb storage at that time even the phone still cant play full HD mpeg-4 vids or HD games or internet browsing.

VIVO ( and sibling OPPO) should rather put efforts towards improving security and software update supports rather than simply increasing RAM.
Seems VIVO OPPO have habbit of doing everything that others do - increase ram, foldable phone, under screen fingerprint scanner, and so on. Doing everything doesn't make them leaders, but it actually makes them good with imitation / mimicry.

10GB on a phone? Not like you can multi-task AAA 4K PC Games @60+fps while stream recording/casting....

Problem is so big that in order for Google or anyone to solve it is complete rewrite. Same thing goes for UI stuttering, Android is the only mobile OS ever not to have UI caching as it does everything in real time. That's why scrolling always feels flimsy like it's sliding below your finger unlike solid scroll feel of iOS, WP, BB10 or Maemo.

They can put 32 Gb of Ram if they want to but if it's not optimized it like shooting empty bullets.We need well optimized ram,powerful to handle all apps.Also depends on the ram clocked size.iPhones ram is like 2-3 but it's clocked at 3 or 2.4,Vivo has 6 but clocked at 1.6 (note this is an example and it's not true since i am talking for an example from pc ram).
Specs ain't everything,software optimization and smooth UI it's what matters.
