I'm in the U.S. and still waiting to see the Oreo update. I'm using a Mate 9, dual sim, on T-Mobile. Anyone else in the U.S. seen it yet?

When it comes to software update, Huawei test the ultimate potential of its users. Oreo for china region was announced on dec 6 2017, and now afyer almost two months only one region is gettin update that too unlocked only. God knows when the other regions will get the update.

I paid 698.40 euros for my Mate 9, so it was more expensive than any filthy Sony the same store had available back then. Conscious decision go for the best-fitting phone model for me, meaning no Sony. I also hate having my phones repaired, so that's another reason I won't buy a Sony as their after-sales services are literally close to non-existing here. Even Huawei has a better representation.

Alien , 31 Jan 2018Did you know USA BANNED Huawei for spying?? Unlocked Huawei and Honor enter US legally (FCC give permission) and people free to buy and use it with AT&T and T-Mobile.
Amazon US, Newegg, B&H, Best Buy, Wallmart sell Huawei and Honor unlocked legally in the US.
But, US government prohibit AT&T and Verizon from selling Huawei cell phone.

So actually, they banned AT&T and Verizon from selling Huawei, because unlocked Honor and Huawei still here in the US legally.
                Complicated scenario.

                    You know nothing about Huawei.

Did you know that Huawei is the number one telecommunications company in the world?

Did you know that for many years Huawei supplied components to various cellphone manufacturers long before Huawei started making their very own cellphones? I bet you have used many phones back then and probably even now with Huawei components and don't even know it.

You should do some research before bashing a company.

I thought Huawei is illegal in the US.
Anyway, I wouldn't use one of those spying replika brands even if they would pay me monthly.
In Europe only the people that can't afford a Sony, Samsung or Apple go for this brand.
