I don't know why journalists and people relate 18:9 screens with the "bezzel-lessnes" and are triggered if phone comes out with 16:9 screens (which they think are not bezzel less) but with better screen to body ratio. For example Samsung A8 has only 0.6% better screen to body ratio comparing to Sony Xperia XA2, but people call it bezzel less while they are bashing XA2 for just obviously 16:9 screen, because screen to body ratio vise, they are same. I admit that 18:9 screens look cooler, and that's all they are. They are not usefull, content looks bad with black bars, you loose inches of screen while watching it, or you loose inches of content if you strech, they are awkward to use since they are too tall and i do not know person which can reach to the top of S8 screen with one thumb without relocating whole phone in hand because of that (and S8 is one of the smaller 18:9 screen phones). So this whole trend is stupid. I love Sony, but hate 18:9 screens and kinda hoped they will not gave up on 16:9 screens on high end devices.
Every handsome man should have a handosme phone.
Small phones are for kids or womans.
Mans with big hands should have at least 5,5 inch.
Also looking on such a small screen isnt healthy for eyesight.
Thats my opinion thus compact phones are really good for certain types of people but not for a real man.
It seems for me more interesting than the xz pro, but the 18:9 ratio perhaps not.
AnonD-265341, 31 Jan 2018Cool, now all the haters will find something new to hate, lolYeah, like;
1. Oh, they're late for the party!
2. Their camera algorithms are nothing compared to Google and Apple. Such a shame that a camera provider like Sony can't produce better pics than the top dogs at DxOMark.
3. What the heck, it's still the same boring rectangle as it was before on OmniBalance. Mirai is bad.
The end of the Xperia Compact. Goodnight, sweet prince. You will be missed by those who had room to carry more than a smartphone in their pockets.
