Anonymous, 31 Jan 2018Dolby since Nokia pure view 808 nothing to steal lol.Man it was dolby digital but not dolby atmos thats something different.
First phone supporting dolby atmos was Lenovo A7000 if you dont believe me try again with your research.
Dolby atmos is dual repro on top and bottomof phone.
Dolby digital supported just one repro.

imRGZ, 01 Feb 2018If any big brand's flagship isn't worthy enough for you, then why are you pondering in their f... moreMan flagships are worthy for me but for affordable price and i dont mean apple X for 1500 eur. Its not that i cant afford a phone for 1500. problem is this phone real value is not 1000 not even 1500.
S8 were same. if the starting price would be 600 instead of 800 eur it should be excellent device but it cost 600 eur half year after unveiling which should be now 400 or 450 thats the real price of this expensive gadget.
S9 will be same or even worse. Note 8 cost 1000 eur now S9 will cost 1000 eur and Note 9 will cost 1300. Thanks no.
Look how ended A 8 series. They barely selling because apart froma slightly better CPU, GPU and camera have nothing new from A5 2017 which is still excellent device.
Thus to my complains.

samsung is worse company I ever seen. they put good hardware and makes android slow with their unwanted features. Their phones should not be considered as flagship as it cannot provide timely updated os - and surprisingly they use android not their OS - because they are not capable of. All they do is add iOS-ish touch everywhere (e.g blur in drawer, extra white everywhere, poor copy of notes and reminders - and lot more).
I know few Samsung idiots will say Samsung makes amazing customisation , their android N is better than android O etc etc ..
But hey idiots we know oreo is better than N.
Samsung UI is slower than pure android
iOS app experience is better than android . period.

And the S8 has leagues better screen, IP68, headphone jack, better camera, better design... and Mi6 is for you "good enough".
- Well it's not good enough for everyone. S8 is better, and therefore costs more. Enjoy Xiaomi if you don't need features, but don't talk bad about Samsung for offering more and ofcourse charging for it more.

Anonymous, 01 Feb 2018So are you gonna tell us what phone you own? that has never stolen any technology from anyone? No?I own 3 Devices.
One is my note 8 (Samsung)
another is work phone iPhone 8 (>.>)
and the third is DIY device I made I am calling Kiya-touch T1.
the T1 uses (with payment for lisences) features from many companies. and so on.
Tablets wise I got the galaxy tab s3 with S-PEN. (heh. yes. I got two S-pens. XD)
and an oldie Huawei media-pad for my nephews.
an iPod touch 6G (for music. it's the only apple thing I truely like)
Laptops I got 1:
Dell vostro 15 S3578 for work reasons.
and a costum built PC for gaming reasons.
all of the 8 devices features from many companies. (the T1 I tried to be original but I am only one person. ^^; ) so I don't think there is 100% original device. with no features "stolen" from other devices.

CptPower, 31 Jan 2018Now the S9 with Dolby Atmos steal lenovo technology grats. Whats next? Shatterproof screen f... moreIf any big brand's flagship isn't worthy enough for you, then why are you pondering in their forums/articles? You can concentrate on your respective VFM brands, Lenovo, Moto, etc.,. By the way Dolby Atmos isn't owned and developed by Lenovo. Don't just blindly say Samsung copied Dolby Atmos from Lenovo. Learn what is what first and then talk. Those who buy Samsung/Apple know what they want and put their money where they wish. If your Lenovo is soo great, then why isn't leading mobile charts at least in India? Remove Moto from the mix, Lenovo's sales will be relegated to 1-2%. Everybody knows how will be the after sales support of these brands.

Zenodroid, 31 Jan 2018Still on beta? Lol. Poor Samsung. But ok, the 90+ bloatware needs to be boosted for oreo. Better to come out with Oreo bug free, than the countless of bug fixes the pixel has been getting.

MrElectrifyer, 31 Jan 2018Dolby Atmos could be applied through headphones like on Windows, no need for stereo speakers...I know, I own a Note 8 and would like to get Atmos but Samsung has already denied it.

Zenodroid, 31 Jan 2018Still on beta? Lol. Poor Samsung. But ok, the 90+ bloatware needs to be boosted for oreo. To avoid 10+ patches like the Pixel...besides Samsung's feature packed skin already contains most of what's "new" to stock android Oreo.

[deleted post]Man i can easily afford Iphone X if its worth the price but is not.
Xiaomi Mi6 cost half the price of brand new S8 and have same CPU and GPU rest of the differences is something which is definitely not worth 400 eur. So your comment i rather not to say.
But thats your opinion.
Oneplus 5T is another example. And we can continue.
I know you really like and enjoy this brand but to be honest selling mercedes for a price of brand new Bentley or Rolls Royce is not an option.

Whats next? Shatterproof screen from Motorola?
Or Moto Mods?
And having a S9 a day earlier is really something ......... Something pointless to even describe it.

MrElectrifyer, 31 Jan 2018Nice! Can't wait to make use of the added advanced features over stock Android Oreo on my Note... moreNo current Samsung phones will be getting Dolby Atmos. According to Samsung, Dolby Atmos require stereo speakers, unfortunately S8s and Note 8 don't have that. Samsung released a statement that Dolby atmos option on the S8 beta was a mistake and won't be included in the final build
