valek, 29 Jul 2011any iphone boy like to comment on the fact? move over & its time for android.... you will ... morelook the manufacters marketshare and you see who really is winning. Android is not one phone brand. Who cares how much cheap android phones is out there? Android has big marketshare because of those cheap android devices, i'm sure about that. Where i live zte blade is selling very good, it has been top 3 most selled phone every month. Outselled every other android phones everytime, iPhone 4 has been only phone which sell more almost every month.
And you are right chance is coming, iPhone 5 is around the corner ;)
akuler, 29 Jul 2011haha..symbian dead, long live android ;DHow come so many retards posting symbian is dead ?
this article only writes about "smart phones" but not "mobile phones"
if we consider entire phones (including smartphones) symbian is still the number one OS .
i think maybe 40% is smartphone market , remaining 60% is non-smartphone market .
I love all OS still , android and iOS still don't have some basic features of Symbian (a lot missing and iOS bull**** especially) .
i use galaxy s2 and my bro uses iphone 4 honestly i liked user experience of iphone due to simple operation and smoothness but hardware too bad for iPhone no SD slot or removable battery and every android ultility app warns before installing that it can access personal data and critical data from phone . simply iphone has more privacy atleast they lock out services used by apps but i don't have much valuable information on my phone , android is dam good for me , but for business both OS bad , iOS has better enterprise support and privacy but hardware simply bad.
pik, 29 Jul 2011the statistics don't show the device return ratio. according to TechCrunch, for android it was... moreIs that for the US or worldwide. Mind you, the iPhone 4 had a solid construction, but too brittle for a fall. I wouldn't be surprised if the return ratio is much higher for worldwide.
any iphone boy like to comment on the fact? move over & its time for android.... you will see a major changes on the next coming 6 month.... just wait
Anonymous, 29 Jul 2011Nokia may have had a chance if it wasnt for them ditching Symbian... SAD... BUT... Th... moreNokia haven't ditched Symbian yet, and if your reason for ditching them is because of ''lagging UI'', try Symbian Anna, or better yet Belle.
akuler, 29 Jul 2011haha..symbian dead, long live android ;DNokia may have had a chance if it wasnt for them ditching Symbian...
Thanks to nokia.. i am also now an ANDRIOD FAN.
To all the Symbian haters here, did you know that there are more Symbian users than people who drink coke? Or use Levi jeans? Did you know that there are 255 million Symbian users worldwide. I repeat, worldwide, not just the US, worlwide. It seems like the media really did brainwashed you guys. Moving to the topic, why isn't LG listed? It's one of the top Android players there. Not to mention they're the first one who had the dual-core smartphone.
anon, 29 Jul 2011too bad for nokia >.Serves them right for not going for Android.
WP7 isn't exactly taking off either and I have a sneeking suspicion that Nolia will get nowheer with WP7!
waiting for the day when iOS will beat Android in numbers as well.
I'am satisfied with Android...
Android is The Best...
what the hell.since when got full page ads?how to click the links then?
the statistics don't show the device return ratio. according to TechCrunch, for android it was 30-40% (hilarious, i'm not at all surprised), while for the iphone 4 (even during the antennagate) it was... 1.7%! i'm not fanboying here, i love my mozart (wp7) :)
I cant understand y nokia build andriod OS?????
Nokia phone have good design only problem is OS....
Common Nokia can you run your device with Andriod????
q8phantom, 29 Jul 2011US is not world but it's nice too see this.Yes, i agree..US statistic is absolutely far from the real truth for worldwide market shares. US people as usual will only use or buy their own brand of Operating Systems n products such as iOS, RIM and Android. But worldwide, Symbian still has its bigger share. But of cause, Android now r on their way to conquer the worldwide market as well.
Excellent! Apple continues to rule with only ONE phone! I expect a Nokia boom with WP7(9)!
