I look at for this .but SD 625 & 3 gb ram I think it's should have priceing under 250 US dollar .I think it's should have similar the u11 life
I think HTC is still operating with "2016" calendar.. :XD
Why though? I think HTC u11 life is sufficient enough. I don't think this new device would be in entry-level. SD 625 won't make much difference in pricing.
If it is an evolution of One A9 I would be interested to see that. Our business has several of these beautiful phones and they perform beyond believe. Stunning devices and had no real need to change till another metal body phone comes out. Almost bought pixel 2 but the glass to frame does not have smooth transition as this. Gotta say A9 kicks dust as a workhorse, speed and all round performance. But if your going to bring a new model of it, it should be a higher 6 series chipset than mentioned in this article.
Enough of manufacturers still pushing out “midrange” devices with the 620 series chips. Are they allergic to or afraid of the much better 650 & 660 series chips that are much better performers and make the case for much more compelling midrange devices?
Hayaan Mo Sila, 03 Feb 2018It is for a fact that it is the best mid range SoC made in its time.
For one, it had the perf... moreThe 450 must be similar and newer.
The issue with having an older is the support by Qualcomm.
The u11 Eyes should have the 660 instead of 652, and this one the 450 or new 460.
Why not 640?
The million dollar question is: will it have a 3.5 mm jack?
Why though? I think HTC u11 life is sufficient enough. I don't think this new device would be in entry-level. SD 625 won't make much difference in pricing.

Who mimicked who?

Anonymous, 03 Feb 2018I assume this aging SoC Sd625 on heavy discountIt is for a fact that it is the best mid range SoC made in its time.
For one, it had the perfect balance between power and efficiency. It can already be considered as a flagship SoC already. It has enough power to do even hardcore things, has 4K video recording (not even Exynos, Kirin, or MediaTek have a mid range chip with this capability), very efficient 14nm process, I mean what's not to love about the 625?
You may say it is already old, but then we do have the SD630 as the successor, or the even more powerful SD660. But then HTC's aim here is to make an even less costly verison of the U11 Life, so they have to cut some cost to do that. They can't offer the SD630 again or the superior SD660 for a supposedly "inferior" version of the device. At least they were kind enough to give us SD625 rather than any unreliable MediaTek cr*p or get even lower SD4xx one.
