Plus we already had 3/5 things oreo had to offer anyways
The S8 has already got the best Android experience out there with smoothness and a lot of unique features, what more do you need? to know you've got Oreo? the average user can't even tell the difference between Oreo, Nougat or whatever, each update doesn't bring with it a brand new experience, only refines the current one, which is already leading, at least in the Android world...
Well, no matter how good the S9 or S9+ with their accessories and all shapes up, the software support update is abysmal so far. Most of the other firms have Oreo update available (though not a smooth experience e.g. bugs and all) but Samsung still has nothing apart from Beta program for S8. I wish the delay is worth it. Pitty S8 users who bought flagship but got no timely security or OS update.
