Just got one of these to replace my ageing pebble 2,
its lighter battery lasts longer and screen is better shaped but no where near enough settings or options ...
like cant change font size nor install custom apps and it hasnt even got a music remote app amung other things (dose have GPS tracking mind you so no need to use phone for that like with others).
its a nice little watch dont get me wrong but the supporting app is kind of basic which REALLY limits the use of the watch in general,
maybe if they update the apps functionality it will be a decent replacement for a pebble type watch but until they do it not bad as a watch but ant no smart watch.

I just received my Amazfit Bip yesterday and I'm extremely happy using it with iPhone X. The battery has drained 2% with always-on screen and steps&sleep tracking. Whatsapp notifications also work like a charm although "äö" are not shown correctly. I guess they should add unicode support. I haven't tested calls or any other supported apps (facebook, skype, etc). I used to have Huawei Watch and it only ran for two days on a single charge. I also like the app - it is well designed and easy to use. I think I'll order two more for my family.

My Amazfit BIP Chinese version does not have any barometric pressure sensor. Anybody have the version with pressure sensor?

I have ordered this watch for my girlfriend and she is very satisfied by it. First of all the battery life is exceptional, the interface is fluid and full of features, you can decline or silent an incoming call, it shows you full notifications, it vibrates, there is a large community of users that create content for the watch (especially watch faces), the watch is very light and at the internet price of 50$ you are not sorry if you scratch it even though ti seems to be very resistant. You get weather, all the standard watch functions such as stopwatch and timer, sports tracking and a superb utility on the phone.

And this smartwatch seems great, especially for battery life. Sorry for bad english :D

They differ in the amount of displayed data, some show only the time and steps, while the weather, battery percentage, BT connection indicator and heartrate are available on other screens, some have all of those neatly displayed on a single screen. Also some of the watchfaces show the air temperature only, some add a weather icon to display sunny/cloudy/rain etc.

Trilulilu, 07 Feb 2018Do you know, what is difference between, amazfit bip, and amazfit bip lite?There seem to be only one version of this smartwatch on its original Chinese market, and it's called Amazfit Midong Smartwatch Youth version, "Youth version" being a popular chinese marketing term for a cheaper version, same as "Lite" in English. The original Amazfit smartwatch is a much more expensive round design, so I guess that when they were localizing the product for the internation market, some resellers went with the direct translation, and some omittied the "lite" part since the original product was never sold outside its home market.
So to answer your question, as far as I'm aware they seem to be the same product.

You can view your sleep phases on your phone via Mi Fit app. As for heart rate monitor, you can enable either 24-hour monitoring at set intervals (1, 10 30 minutes) or during sleep which also assists with sleep detection.

I own both Mi Band 2 and this Bip and Bip is simply better in all respects. The display is bigger, always on and boasts much better sun readability, you can actually see the contents of your notifications, not just the names of the apps they are coming from and the battery lasts 2-3 times longer. And that's not considering new features made possible by the addition of a touchscreen like you can scroll through past notifications, view weather forecast, compass, set a timer or an alarm on the watch itself. You can also use it to pay with AliPay which is very convinient if you're residing in China. Oh, and the display illumination is bright enough to serve as a mini flashlight when you're eyes have already accomodated to darkness. There is simply no comparison, Bip outclasses Band 2 in all respects and costs only 55$ online.
