This update will not come Over the air. htc said it is to big and u can only install it with htc sync and manually do it.

HTC have not released the update at all the UK....tried on various HTC Desire variations.
They really need to get there act together and show more support to commited HTC users!

Hi Matt CPWUK

So does this mean that people who are with select carriers will not get the update yet? it would suck to have to wait months again lol I love HTC and the Android operating system,I used to have windows phone 7 but because it lacks personalization options I switched to android:) I just hope that carriers begin rolling out the update soon.

And i have heard that this update is only supposed to be for developers, which makes no sense...

I have a custom recovery so if it ruins my phone i can always flash back to 2.2 :D

It's hard to believe for people living in the real world that this could be it. Are we getting fooled by HTC or is this the real world? Because if this is how we do business 'HTC' you will be surprised by some new future game rules from those who used to buy your shit, so think again 'HTC' if that is what you Desire.

I live in canada and i am with telus. I am unsure if I have an unbranded device or not. If i did does this mean I will not receive the 2.3 update? I've had this phone for about 5 months now and I bought it with android 2.2 on it and I atleast want the pleasure of being able to update the phone once before not being able to due to memory problems.
