Oh no, look at that bezel.
This phone could as well be dead with such chunky bottom bezel.
Instead of including it, they could simply use a notch for the cam like normal companies do.
No need to use the whole row for just a few components. Practically thinking mind = zero.

It takes, l... moreThat logic is why we have laptop webcams at the bottom of the screen in the quest to have the least amount of bezel. Bezel isn't bad just because phone reviewers told you they are. They have a purpose/use. So no, I want the camera to be where it belongs...top of the damn phone.

Does that mean what i think it means?
Anyway, the only complaint i have with those kinds of phones is the lack of stereo speakers.
I mean, they could enable the earpiece, but i dont think they would. Phone manufacturers never do that when the earpiece isnt a dedicated speaker.
For example, even the Nexus 5X or Galaxy S6 sound good after you install a mod to enable both speakers. Imo, you dont really need a true speaker for stereo. The regular earpiece, if boosted, it sounds good enough.
Not as good as a HTC, ZTE or Razer, but still not that bad.
At least Vivo got their music game on point.
They always have 32bit DACs in their phones.

If you dont wake up when someone is grabbing your finger and placing it onto a phone then youre a moron.

Fingerprints can be copied with a single photo. Children can use a sleeping parent's finger to unlock a phone and make purchases.
Whereas 3D face scanning combined with iris recognition is perfectly secure - unless someone can force you to keep your eyes open and look in the scanner.
Fingerprint unlocking is just convenient because it's easy to use, but it's by no means secure. That's why I use a 6 digit pin on my phone and have disabled all other biometric sensors as they are not secure.

The future is 3D face scan + iris recognition.not really, Fingerprint is still the present and future, only because Apple had a horrible idea nad replaced fingerprint with Facereconization and of course like last 5 years failed again it doesn't mean it's the future. on my Galaxy S8 i've used my fingerprint and will stay with fingerprint. It#s Much more secure and much much easier to use and of course much faster. (i don't give a SH!T about what apple said about security of FaceID, never could open any phone with another fingerprint and copying a fingerprint needs a lot of time and extremly strong and professional team but a child could open his moms iPhoneX without any problem or those twince or with masks and etc. so NO FACEID is not secure

Now this is how the mi mix 2 should've been. Wonder if they're using the same vibrating inner earpiece like the mix 1. If so, hope it's improved. This is the future of phones folks and I'm loving it! Bring it on!!

Really really loving what i see. I will say my paws are craving to cradle this beauty in hand
1) It looks like a 16:9AR or 17:9AR full screen
2) Fingerprint scanner might be underneath the screen.
3) Hoping for a bigger 4000mAh+ battery.
4) Let's hope for 6-8GB RAM and 128/256GB storage plus micro SD card.
5) Hope for a very capable top notch back n front cameras
6) Make it available in the US with all the LTE bands that play nice with GSM carriers
