They are one of the chinese manufacturers that charges high prices to their phones in terms of specs(which isnt good), so their phones arent poor man's iphones as you said.

They provide awesome hardware for the price but their software is usually "not best" and their phones provide visibly worse user experience than you could expect looking at the specs alone. And the well optimized software is not for them as easy to copy as the hardware. Samsung/LG phones with a bit cheaper hardware actually provide better user experience than Elephones/Xiaomis, etc. And the clearest example is the camera software. Xiaomi puts really good Sony sensors into their phones but they take significantly worse photos than Samsung/LG phones with same sensors.

All phones have even a tiny bezzels.

finally well put device for NORMAL PEOPLE (not a selfie kids!)
as a business person I need SCREEN not a blothy nothes or laser technology reinvented from years back (apple).
As a NORMAL USER i dont need "selfish" cameras but a clean and smart design and this seems to delivering it all.
lets hope for min 4000mha battery and bare minimum of 6gb ram... splashproofing would be a nice gesture as well.
