I hope in the near future there will be a camera that will be put under the display. its sort of laser camera. so that manufacturers could avoid that ugly notch where ever it may be. corner or on the center its just ugly imho. and with thaht revolutuonary design (camera under d display) omg we will have a full functional display smartphone

There is hope with the A1, but unless Xiaomi puts their act together and release more phones with stock Android (or at least give kernel sources more timely) there is no way I'm gonna waste my time with yet another chinese imitation of iOS. I buy Android for a reason, which happens to be that I dislike iOS -- MIUI gives me the worst of both worlds, don't even get me started on the fact I need an account with Xiaomi to use my own phone.

Why manufactures go extra length t... moreI do agree about the perfect rectangular screen. but until the day underscreen camera will come. that won't happen. as for why lengthening... going back to bezelless 16:9 yields more squarish phone, and people are USED to long devices. which is why we see such bizarre and weird aspect ratios. (Atleast imo.)
