People are always criticising Chinese manufacturers for one thing or the other, but I guess this is a tight slap by Xiaomi on their faces, yet again. First they started the trend of "bezel-less" with the Mix, and now (assuming this render to be true) the first brand to perfect the same (until we get under display selfie cams).
IMO the best "bezel-less" design right now. Period.

AnonD-510098, 10 Feb 2018IF it looks like the picture posted, it will 100% be the best "bezeless" attempt.I thought about why nobody did that for a while, until there are under screen cameras, its the best way. Could also use more sensors in that style on other corners, like cameras on fire phone.
btw fire phone looks like first phone with quad/penta - camera on one side, will be long until next.

Pretty good. But I prefer Samsung and LGs take on bezel-less design which keeps a uniform and even screen with a minimal top bezel for camera and sensors. That corner cutout looks like a dead pixel cluster which bothers my OCD self

Actually Mi Mix 2 was/is hardly the benchmark of BtS ratio. So having slimmer bezels than it is hardly a surprise (for a new phone anyway), although I suspect it will be the same design as Mi Mix 2 (as the name suggests, else it would be Mi Mix 3).
Now Mi Mix 1 ... *that* would be impressive if it was surpassed. Released in 2016 and is till the BtS ratio champ. So obviously Xiaomi has the now how, they regressed in 2017 ... let's hope 2018 would be better to them.
