Its a software issue and it can be taking care of with a custom rom or official update

SGS2 also has pink spot problem when taking picture in a rather low light indoor and also yellow tint on the screen on some unit. This happens throughout nations that has their SGS2 "Made in China".I live in Indonesia but those in Singapore also has similar problems.

Well that kind of stinks...I was thinking about getting one of these two, I figured it'd been out long enough for the bugs to be found. Good thing I waited, I'm with T-mobile so I think that lovely little myTouch 4G Slide will be my cup of tea. The camera on that thing is truly amazing, and it's packing the same fire power that the Sensation has.

I had my HTC Sensation for 2 weeks. The phone was magnificent for the first week. Second week started giving problems with touchscreen. I did have problems with lock screen, but the major one was with the back soft key and the regular touch screen. It's very irritating specifically when you are typing something and the key press doesn't register.

I exchanged mine for Galaxy S II a couple days back and can't be happier. No issues so far and it's much much smoother compared to Sensation...

Had mine since official UK launch day with daily heavy useage, I have not experienced ANY problems at all with the screen, camera, wifi, anything... In fact as someone who changes their phone every 6 months and is a very experienced user, the HTC Sensation is the most reliable phone I have ever owned.

have the Sensation for 2 months now. No touchscreen issue, no camera issue, been holding it like a normal person - so no Death grip complaints. pretty awesome. don't even want to unlock the bootloader. :-)

AnonD-1131, 04 Aug 2011HTC should do a recall. They should make a public apology and publish it on newspapers, blog... moreyou say theres better alternatives. then you list nokia phones, symbian.

If your going to try and make an argument then dont lose it with ur next sentence! At least list some decent phones!

AnonD-16545, 04 Aug 2011What a load of rubbish & panic mongering! I've had the HTC Sensation for 2 months now and... morei believe what they're trying to outline is not that HTC is a bad brand but that when there's an apparent fault ie buggy firmware the company won't be too quick to admit it and therefore follow up is in the shadows. It's also unfortunate because they had buggy firmware when they were using earlier versions of Windows as well. It isn't uncommon for large companies to sacrifice their reputation to beat competitors release dates by releasing undercooked devices either. LG and Blackberry have been questioned on this matter.

Hey guys.Maybe it is true that many of you have had problems with your Sensations, but that does not make the company bad.I have been a fan of HTC phones almost since the first model was released in South Africa, and I can truly say that I have never been disappointed.I bought the Sensation recently(about a month and a half ago),and to this day I have not had ANY of the issues mentioned,so I can recommend this phone without the slightest doubt! This phone is AWESOME!
