nope .. i don't face these issues at all ....

but yes, battery life .. i really hope htc will do something about it .....

other than that .. i'm very happy :P ..

have to credit htc on the UI ... at some point .. it does a good job handling graphics / animations ..
each and every element is personalized ..... NEAT!

Well it's something to be expected from HTC as this was their first multimedia oriented device...
I don't think it was rushed, it's just a lack of experience from HTC engineers.
Even the iPhone 4 had lots of issues at firs but proper support from Apple made the difference. As soon as HTC acknowledges these issues and does something about them...

Looks like hTC rashed in making a flagship superphone to rival the Galaxy S II.But,in doing so,it failed to live upto its mark to the customers, suffering with these terrible touch and death geip issues. My Wildfire is a tremendous device and way better than this, concerning the above aspects and what people think it to be as a not so powerful phone. Its touch is similar and to some extent even better than Iphone 4,knowing it as I have one.

btw,it's not company flagship's phone,Evo3d is,and maybe the users want to release the rom for their personal custom use.even wi-fi will have death grip like others smartphones like nokia, samsung,Iphone, but again it's a software problem,it can be solved quickly, otherwise hardware is one of the best.

When I bought my SGS2 I was thinking about waiting for the Sensation because I previously owned a HTC and I loved it. But i'm glad I didn't, it has way too many issues and their dev team works way too slow. I was following the forums and news about the HTCS from it's launching date, and I'm now convinced that my decision was the right one. I'm sorry though for HTC, the SGS2 should have a competitor.

I have had the issue. There is also another that will prevent your SD from working. When you run the HTC updates, it downloads an update for the ir listen app. The update makes a change to the filing system and because of this it will prevent your SD from working. Uninstalling the update is not enough, you will need to do a factory reset to clear the changes.

I'm on my 5th sensation, all have the issue. I came from a Nexus 1 then an EVO 4G, both rooted, and have used every rom available for both. They both work and feel way better than the sensation (after the touchscreen issue starts up) I ran a sense 3.0 rom on my evo for months, same exact lock screen and once the bugs from the port were worked out it worked flawless. To the idiot who says the lockscreen should respond like that, you are clueless. It worked flawless every time for a week before it degraded. My Evo worked every time. I havent heard complaints from the EVO 3D crowd with this issue, obviously the lock ring is a good design, the sensation has major problems. I'd jump ship in a second if given the chance.. My gf's Nexus 1,3 years old, feels better than HTC's flagship device. That is sad. The Sensation has been rooted now and i've tried every custom rom out, no help. Still there.

yeah large of users reporting their sensation touchscreen, but i'm not one of them. i got my sensation two months now, but i didn't see any of those issues..

i don't know what's the problem between gsmarena and htc devices. all i can see defections, underestimating, criticizing, and even more, knowing that there's lot of issues in samsung devices, and all i see is complements. what's that, misleading ?????????
i got my sensation 1 month from now, and i don't see any of the lock issue. i'm just adore my device more than i can even imagine. the sensation is one of the best phones in 2011.if isn't the best...

I wonder how many negative user comments/experiences in xda-developers it takes to deserve an article related to issues, such as this one on HTC. The reason I'm asking is that I'd like to see an article also on Samsung's "Sleep of Death". Many have complained to Samsung (specially with the Galaxy Ace)--those whose units were replaced still experience the problem. Yet, Samsung has not given an official position on the issue, choosing instead to deal with each customer separately.

And as if I haven't beat this dead horse enough, I see a real problem on the mechanical side of things. When you remove the cover from the guts have a look at how the lock button and volume rocker are installed. It's ingenius in it's over-engineered cheapness. Contacts and findings are paper thin. As much as I've had to use the lock button just this past week of ownership I'd give it a month or two, tops, before it fails. By then you can't send the piece of crap back. You'll have to carry around a toothpick to jam the button contacts together. This all reminds me of what Lily Tomlin once said, "I feel that drugs have forced us to become more creative than we really are"........

The problem is we have to wait htc to update the firmware because the phone is in s-on so i can't install custom firmware.....htc must harry up before we change brand for ever... Another problem is my desire z and the sensation have dead pixels i don't know why but it has... Sure i will not take it back to open the phone and change the display because it will never be a new after they open it....
Other problem is when you make a restart the phone it lose the icons details all the programs and games you install in sd card...
Other problem is the sync icon never finish to leave the display i have to cancel the sync manualy.....

This really is a big issue. Not because of the bugs but because HTC USA refused to admit there is a problem. TMobile USA has clearly stated this is an issue but HTC refuses to admit it. Right no TMobile USA refuse to offer exchanges because the won't fix the issue. They claim that a software update is coming, but HTC is saying the software update could take months. Way to go this is the kind of thing that ruins companies.
