Its jist outdated android with some memory tweaks(for the worse) , bloat, and ios 'inspired' ui.
It's a perfect example of how companies don't care what we want. Removing of 3.5mm jack, 18:9 aspect ratio, the list is long. They are dictating what we are supposed to like. That's why i boycott them as much as i can, buying cheap phones and buying rarely.

People complain they have MIUI updates, but Android stays on the same version. Most of the people do not realize MIUI is not a launcher, it is OS. And a phone with Android 5 and Android 8 running MIUI 9 does exactly same things except split screen (which for me is a doubtful feature). Even phones with Android 5 can run youtube videos in Picture in Picture mode.
Such people are voting they would prefer Android ONE.
Just updated my Redmi Note 3 to MIUI 9, but it is still running on Marshmallow. What's the point of having MIUI 9 when the underlying OS is still the dated version?
I use samsung s7 now but sony, xiaomi & nexus 4 in the past. Frankly, miui is the worst android. Sony's software is the best.
I have been using redmi note 3 pro since it launched. My phone never froze, it is getting better and better. Battery is still great, no downgrading. It's user friendly, fast and easy, rich in options. Still rocks.
Good luck with your... Ummmm.... I don't wanna say it, ok take care
I've got a Xiaomi mi 6, and MIUI is a very heavy ROM, filled with stuff you'll never use... I've disabled most of them through ADB... But the worst of MIUI is that it comes with a system app called "msa", which the full package name was called com.miui.systemAdsolution (plus it's always running, along with a load of other... "Apps")
You could already know its purpose by the name, and I disabled it the first chance I got... Now I'm using miui beta ROM, updated to Oreo, and now msa's package name is com.miui.msa.global
Guessing people found out. I'm going to wait until a good custom ROM is out on XDA so I can use my phone to its fullest potential
This shows the decadence of these handset manufacturers.
They have their heads so far up their ass...

Where in world did you get the impression it's expensive?
MIUI is fast and fluid;
MIUI in china with Chinese(Original) ROM is fast and fluid, because developers in Xiaomi as serious for their domestic market.
MIUI outside with English(Global) ROM is neglected thanks to lack of proper time to develop same as Original one.
Twitter is not popular among Chinese people who use the domestic ROM of MIUI, so the answer is obvious. Stock android with Google services is way ahead of MIUI with Google services.
Xiaomi must consider this difference and focus more on Global ROM than delete such a Poll.
No one needs iOS looks on Android, people buying android not to look like iOS, so they got what they deserved
Anonymous, 12 Feb 2018Question, if users are so much interested in stock android then why they never buy pixel or on... moreBecause Pixel and OnePlus are overpriced. This is partly why Nokia's comeback has been a success since they make a large segment of phones including super budget ones all running stock Android.
Hilarious flop of Xiaomi!
That said, stock Android too isn't common consumer's favorite.
And also when gadget freaks say s/he prefer stock Android, it doesn't mean they are going to keep using stock launcher , instead they have alternative UIs to install in mind.
Considering that majority of people in my country don't even know what's Nova/Action launcher is (and stick to whatever UI they have got in the first), stock Android isn't necessary the best way to go because it's too plain for common people, and it's hard to differentiate.
All in all, I'd like to see : adding some neat feature without ruining stock Android's goodness, - like Pixel, Moto, Xperia and OnePlus do, with Project Treble support on them to make timely OS update possible.
I like oem roms rather than vanilla.. I had enough of it when i used my nexus 7..such a useless rom.. Now it runs on cyanogen and its awesome...no matter what you say.. I'd rather have a phone that can autotag its mp3 files, or have a ui that can actually lock the screen with your voice
