Shadocx, 12 Feb 2018You say that but my Exynos S7 Edge is laggy, I'm not sure if it's the heavy Samsung Experience... moreGalaxies always end up lagging no matter what. Samsung's UI is that much heavy/not optimized. It's crazy, nowadays smartphones processors should be able to run anything without breaking a sweat, yet Sammy still manages to f up the software.

Anonymous, 12 Feb 2018Cause there’s somthing call it optimization and yes A11 better and more powerful as cpu and gp... morethis story of optimization is a joke.

i seen lots of games and others app less optimized on iOS than android ( world of tank blitz is a good example of this its run with less details *lights , grass ect* than the android version)

app and games available on both platform are sometime more optimized on one than the others.

i just tested dead trigger 2 max setting and into the dead 2 max setting on my essential and its run butter smooth.

not every OEM do the same optimization job or have same build quality on devices.
Samsung tend to throttle more ( even more if its exynos the GPU always throttle ) one plus is crap every of my friend who tried those said they where buggy as hell.

That the magic with Android you have choice of OEM.

PS: also tested both game on my colleague note 8 ( SD835 ) and its butter smooth as well.

Iphone 7 128 jetblack ( that i got for free when doing training at Apple as i work in the industry ) lagged out in world of tank blitz at 50 to 55 fps where lg g5 run same game with more detial at 55 to 60 fps.

As you said Optimization vary from OEM to OEM and between OS and app.

Who need so much power when you got a limited OS.

on my device i run a big 3d rendering of planet earth in real time with full screen sized animated widget this do take a toll on cpu and gpu where all you have on your iOS device is a grid of icons.

I used to own one plus 5T 8GB of ram, 128gb storage guess what gaming performance not as good as my iPad mini 4 and when it comes to high intensive graphics games not that good still, I played into dead 2 with highest graphics setting and as you know how the graphics in this game one plus 5T heats up a lot and start to drop frame played the same game on my note 8 Exyons 8895 same thing, but not heating and not as bad as one plus.

this is why many OEM often get 10 to 20% performance increase on the same snapdragon soc...

S7 Exynos was a big joke its is literally an oven and throttle so much its has a hard time going over 30 fps in real heavy games like world of tank blitz ( with max graphic ) where similar device like the LG G5 easily do 55 to 60 fps in the same game with same setting.

S8 exynos is much better but GPU still throttle a lots and has a hard time keeping fps at 60 in the same game ( often its dip to 40 ) where my SD 835 device keep a steedy 60 fps in that same game.
