They will launch with Nougat so they don't have to support project treble and release Android P when it launches. They will simply give the Oreo update after an year and forget about P...This is what they always do...

The reason been Oreo based MIUI is yet under work and it will be soon launched in some months.
Looking at the failure and problems caused to MI A1 Oreo update Xiaomi is keeping it safe with MIUI 9 N.

Mi not launching these series in India because these are high specification low in price. We are fooling by Mi. Ask Mi demand Mi for sell best specification Phone's in India don't in China. Kind of bugs me that the height is different on the two renders xD it can still be the same phone just one image is smaller/bigger , but you know ....
