I think Nokia is rising. Many people are still in love with the brand.
An example of how a reused brand is more profitable than a new qualified one with quality and without the bad cameras of Nokia phones. Better that they use that money to improve before people figure that that they are being fooled and teased.
Good job NOKIA/HMD. I just hope they will make a flagship 16:9AR or 17:9AR QHD 6" screen phone with minimal bezels with top 2018 specs plus a monster 4000mAh+ battery.
I said this some years ago...If Nokia did not foolishly partner with Windows phone and instead had joined Android, they will be giving Sammy a run for their money by now.
I am very glad the rise of Nokia. I find the the design of new Nokia models very nice and when you hand it you feel the solid build quality. But the major problem in new Nokia smart phones is the quality of camera. İt shows realy bad performance particulary in low light. I hope they improve the camera in 2018.
3D Memorys, 12 Feb 2018Nokia keep moving on! and sony keeps moving backward
John, 12 Feb 2018Nice one Nokia!! Great work!
As an ex Symbian Nokia fan, I was forced to switch to Samsung ... moreWe all want one but there is nobody who make them anymore. Sony have compact the only one that is small with 4.6 inch and samsung a3 with it's 4.7 inch and that's about it.
The trend is for minimum of 5 inch and well these are usually with low hardware for low budget.
You clearly do not have any accounting background. If it's a branch, it will be affected financially regardless of what the brand is called.
Nice one Nokia!! Great work!
As an ex Symbian Nokia fan, I was forced to switch to Samsung because of the useless Windoze OS. I'm considering switching back to Nokia for my next phone... I need a powerful small factor 4.5in screen for good old T9 texting on the run. Can you build one? The Samsung T9 sucks big time, but I've no choice!
This is great news indeed. However I'm shocked however to know that the first wave of Nokia handsets were Underpowered so my expectations were a bit lesser indeed. Nevertheless a great resurgence of a high class brand. I know the first generation devices lacked innovation but it was more of a testing ground I guess. Kudos Nokia/Hmd global.
Aadrian, 12 Feb 2018Just a matter of time before HMD will be bought by Nokia themselves I guess. The number of pho... moreI think HMD is actually a Nokia branch. They just formed another Brand so they cannot be affected finacialy if it goes wrong. A very smart move actually. I do not think they will merge, this way is safer for Nokia Headquarters. To have again a hardware devision under it's Umbrella is pretty dangerous, at least, for the moment.
SabbyJ, 12 Feb 2018Quite the progress. I just wish their customer service/service centers kept up with the pace. ... moreWell, if i were you i would have been in.Heavan, a new phone is always better then a repaired one.

Comparing with google and oneplus are you for real (only flagship devices with flagship price)? They both have only maybe 2 models in there lineup if that even. Nokia have 2, 5, 6, 7 and 8 plus these 3310 2g and 3g so no wonder they have sold more. HTC have something 6 models a year and nothing special of them. And well for Sony i cant say much as i dont care much about them as they all look the same and have high price tags on them that are worth the buy.
Out of my over 20 phones i have owned are only 3 phones that are not Nokia but if i need new phone then i will go with Xiaomi or Huawei next. Right now i have Leagoo Kiicaa Mix for something 4 months by now and well it's good enough for my needs. Battery have lasted me 4 days and shows 31% right now.
SpiritWolf, 12 Feb 2018If you are shameless Nokia fanboy, why the hell should you want HMD succeed?HMD succeeds, Nokia succeeds. Simple.
AnonD-34062, 12 Feb 2018I'm sorry your experience was so negative. They might be a new player, but that after-sales se... moreIf you are shameless Nokia fanboy, why the hell should you want HMD succeed?
Agar using Nokia 6 for 2 months all I can say is better experience. The FPS is a little bad experience. I think it is same in all of their phones. Other than that no complaints at all.
Nokia in LG HTC out!
