I changed from j7+(mediatek p20) to a8 2018 (exynos), very surprised the mediatek had better cell reception. I wonder how it compares snapdragon to flagship exynos.

If you want to punish or send a message to Samsung, buy a Huawei, not another Samsung. You need to avoid all SD845 and Exynos, if you want to send a message to Samsung.

Onyxia, 13 Feb 2018WOW. Samsung should just ditch the SD 845 entirely and use the Exynos 9810 on all the Galaxy S... morePerformance is not the only consideration. Look at the manufacturing deals for the SD845. They likely make a tidy sum from that too, and clearly the SD Samsung devices sell well anyway.

Not surprising, knowing they use the same strategy as Apple A SoC: widening the decoding pipeline (it even matches the number: 6). We'll see how they avoid the caveat for this: shorten the battery lifetime due to sustained high power usage.

Look, I don't encourage doing a BYOD (build YOD) It requires a lot of time, research, and money spending. I understand as the maker of my PDA how hard it is to manufacture a phone. I succeed in it. but only for a PDA. A Phone is MUCH harder to make, hence the reason I say kudos to the companies who make our phones. sure, it's not perfect and ABSULUTELY there are compromises.
p.s. I am not a real goddess, I called myself like that to show people via exaggaration that I master more the software than hardware.

That might change with this but the gpu will still be worse. Either slower, throttles too fast this this cpu or is just inefficient

As always exynos will be throttled down to offer similar experience to Snapdragon 845.. Pity at the waste of such powerful chipset.. Samsung should have gone full exynos ala S6 and ditch the snapdragons
