Shadocx, 13 Feb 2018https://browser.geekbench.com/v4/cpu/7014385 https://browser.geekbench.com/v4/cpu/6974531Well linked! it is comparable. (the Note 8 scores about 2020 in my case btw)

    Snapdragon 845
    Single Core 2378
    Multi-core 8132

    Exynos 9810
    Single Core 3648
    Multi-core 8894

Even the multi-core gap is Huge. I hope the non-US version of the S9 has a massive processor advantage in photo and video.

As for Snapdragon, I hope there is a group action lawsuit against them, for pushing such slow processors in every generation their their IP malpractices route. Smartphone customers need to sue them for hundreds of billions of US$.

The Samsung S9 seems to be really headed for re-defining photography (and SoCs).

Anonymous, 13 Feb 2018Not even close to Iphone score It's the same level as iPhone 7's score. which is still very impressive. I know we are looking way high at the A11's 4200 points, but jeez! 3650 points for an M3!? I knew I should've ordered the EXYNOS version for my Kiya-touch...!

Okay. at first I was skeptical that the m3 could achievve such a high score. but holy shit. if this is real.... I gotta say Kudos for Samsung, And yays for EMEA for winning this babe. (now the tasks I do will happen WAY faster!)

Higher than SD 845, but still a way to go for A11. Very impressive nevertheless. I almost lose hope with SD 845 SC score.

System throttling is a past for them already, the chances of their EXYNOS chipsets throttling is very low, stays at full throttle 90% of the time, impressive. Do u agree that HUAWEI's chipsets are also as good as SAMSUNG's EXYNOS? (As in the high-end chipsets)

Azaam, 13 Feb 2018And sadly,, in real life it opens even simple apps slower than SD820, 3 year old processor. ... moreAll these issue will fix with upcoming iOS 11.3 and upcoming iPhone X 2018. Apple owns there OS and knows what they’re doing unlike Android OEM’s that don’t own there OS. Crapdragon paid for Apple to use there modems and there chipset not as as Exyons even things will change soon.

Dude, 13 Feb 2018Sadly the new Iphones still rape Sammy soc wise...t's ok since after a year or two, apple will throttle down their SoC anyways lol. Like how they throttled down the iphone 7 to fix the humming issue.

Historically, the exynos line has been significantly superior to the snapdragon in that aspect, especially in the last couple of iterations.

Thats impressive but in the end, arbitrary benchmark numbers mean little to practical and real life use. But great job samsung for the powerhouse that is the exynos line. Hopefully they make the gpu comparable to adreno this time around.

Speed is no longer a concern for most apps. Casual gaming apps .. or core apps no longer lags.

The push now is to external factors.. like Android Auto / Carplay .. VR / AR.. Dex station.

You can see that iOS is SORELY weak in these areas. Their Carplay is JUNK, their AR is worthless without supporting gear. They continuity is not even near dex station integration.
