wow! i always love black.. i dont mind about the camera shutter being removed at least they made a solution for a bigger battery w/c is 1 of the most important of all.. & i hope its true that this updated version will have a VGA screen..

I will definately NOT BUY any Nokia N95 versions because its big, thick and expensive and they keep releasing the new one after you bought it. Its not worth to invest about $800+ on a phone that value for less than 6 months.
I bet within the next 6 months they will annouce N96, N96, N76, N74 with better better design and features. blah blah
Go get a PDA fully featured instead!

The most exciting bit of news here is the possible use of american 3g. It's interesting how 99.9% of Nokia's phones are incapable of 3g in the states - at&t has had 3g for over 2 years... Why doesn't Nokia make triband 3g units? That way pretty much any phone could satisfy any market. Oh well, i can only hope that they will at least have a US version of the new n95 - i want 3g on a nokia!

Yet again another marketing strategy for Nokia. Of course they have to make a positive move after that devastating BL-5C Battery issue that they have. But look, 8gb of memory - talk about competing with W960 with 8gb of memory... But the thing is, its still not touch screen. And why did they not put the good battery in the first place - really a marketing strategy that only die hard nokia fans with really decide to buy and waste money.

This is a very ugly phone in the outside. Unlike the N70, N73 & N91 dressed in black which became so much more attractive than their original looks, this N95 8GB becomes the ugliest phone out there.

When i saw this news i felt such joy. But what would make me feel much better is when i see that it has a memory slot. Don't now if they forgot to say anything on it. If it don't use it fortunately i'll buy the first n95.

this is a very nice phone! though removing the lens cover would suck! does this still have a memory slot? how's tomtom gonna work then? i have an N95 with 4GB of micro-SD and i'm very satisfied with it. i have tons of software on this little monster. though problem is battery life, as expected on full-featured phone.

poor, very poor. Nokia should learn form samsung, who makes 5.5mm thick phones. N95 is BRICK, even though it has 5Mpix GPS etc. they should try harder, and make it smaller, i dont belive it's not possible.

Wow, bigger battery capacity (1200ma), now it should have a stronger exploding effect, yap i need this phone during new year so that I could charge the battery at midnight and will have a nice firworks.

I am going to eventually do wat your doing andy burgin because we know sandisk is bringing out an 8gb hc card soon and we have both got bigger batterys and can get the black parts..

No lens cover?!!!!It's a 5 megapixel camera.
No xenon?
And you must have the slide open to receive perfect reception from the sat.And also slide mechanism sucks
I prefer N82 with xenon,no slider,smaller,but smaller screen.
About the memory there is too many brands to offer 4 and 8 GB.
