I saw the photos of this phone ages ago as i recieved a email from www.mobile-review.com an i just wanted my N95 to look like it i have even put a Black Fascia on my N95 an keep going on Ebay an putting in the WANT IT NOW section telling all the sellers on Ebay about the release of the N95i ,i think Nokias got to stopwhat they do with its mobiles,i first had the N73 an bought a Black Fascia for it then all of a sudden they release the N73Music Edition in Black,an they have now done this again with the N95 an the 5300 an 5200 releasing the models in Black,Why can"t they release the first released in Black instead of Silver or White,i hope some website will be selling the BlackFascia set to put on my N95 as i already have bought a 1200mah battery of Ebay an hope to see my N95 match the N95i

i am using a 1350 milliamp lithium polymer with my n95(third party) and getting abour 25% more power on average so i think the 1200 milliamp battery will not do that much better than 950 milliamp ,,but,, we will have to wait and see

im sure it will cost a lot more in the philippines. i think it will be ranged at Php39,000 to Php to 45,000..

The funny thing is that everyone says that SE attempts to steal the consumers' money by introducing phones with different body and relatively same specs.. well look at Nokia, you've just spent approx 700 US to get the N95, now spend another 700+ US to get this one.. with larger battery, 8Gb, no lens cover and then a few months later, spend yet another 700+ US for the N95i.. probably the N95 8Gb version with a lens cover, with some other stuff added, and something taken out.. and then the N95 successor is out.. go and spend another huge sum on that.. gg Nokia

In my own fearless opinion, the release of the first N95 was just seemingly a trial one. This 8GB N95 is the real deal. It deserves the huge chunk of memory. I also think that Nokia has that reputation of releasing improved/upgraded models. All for the simple reason of advancing their handsets with useful tools like GPS, WLAN, etc. aside from being just equipped with an autofocus camera, music player or anything desirable in a smartphone.
The good things are basically the battery and the huge memory. My brother currently uses N95 and so far his issue is just the low battery life.
I won't say negative, let's wait til this comes out.

will u ever buy a 5mP digi cam witout a lens cover...
..definately NOT...
so if nokia launches a n95i or n95ME w/o a lens protector den it realy makes no sense buyin one..jst imagine u keep u phone in ur pocket n say a pen or a coin put a scratch on the lens....OMG..screwed up da cam..n ya sably these nokia lenses r not replaceable wit the outer body cover...i love nokia but at tim fail to understand y do they forget some basic stuff..i mean at this level wit such good phone..how can they make such sucidal mistakes...i wish tht they also had a lens protector on E90..
common NOKIA try to understand...a person uses his nokia for more than 2/3 of a day...

What Nokia really need to do to Make this N95 8GB a Success is put a Lithuanium-Polymer Li-Po battery instead of the Li-on 1 thats already in the N95
and if Nokia is realeasing N95 8GB why are they making N95i ?

This Phone looks good. Any Nokia Looks LOADS better when a black edition comes out (like N73 Music Edition for instance).
I held back from buying the N95 for four main reasons.
1- The poor battery life
2- The Silver/Plum Color (HATE IT)
3- Low memory (even a 2GB card is not enough for a phone like N95)
4- No Xenon flash
The black N95 solves the 1st 3 problems and if it comes with a Xenon flash then it will be the perfect phone but as we all know such a thing simply does not exist. Lets hope Nokia decide to incorporate a Xenon flash in this one and if not, who the heck cares?? Im getting this phone anyways!

The N95 series after this (8GB) is N95i and followed by N95-ME.
