Good thing about Huawei Phones they drop in price pretty quickly here in the UK, I picked up a P10 few weeks ago for under half it's original launch price & it's a brilliant little phone plus Oreo is due out soon for it.
I won't spend £800+ on a flagship mobile when there is no need to, the Kirin 960 & 970 are more than decent enough to run anything Android brings to the table, even the lesser Kirin 658 & 659 are well upto the job aswell.

Anonymous, 13 Feb 2018You realize not every person out there cares or wants the most up-to-date highest specs, right... moreExactly, and those phones have reached such a point that even with those specs, it's perfectly smooth in almost all situations but hardcore benchmarks.
I'm using a Honor 7x and i don't feel the need for something "more powerful" but i want a flagship from Huawei with more features now.

No sane persone should buy p20 or p20 plus. Kirin 970 is 4 months old already, beaten by SD 845. And in six months will arrive Kirin 980. So after you buy it in six months there is better huawei and your phone looks old already

Huawei P20 Plus must be something special..

So these devices use the same processor as the Mate Pro? SD845 seems a step up, based on recent benchmarks. I will hold off and get an 845 device. That said, the Mate Pro was gorgeous.
