They wont be low on quality, but more people here are wanting something like Mi TV could bring budget and features together.
And also dont worry this TV cant be bought easily though. People would fight in the Flash sale and this wont to your doorstep and indulge in compulsion buying though :P
600 dollars, wow thats insanely cheap and it sounds great...plus it has hdr and is the thinnest at that...almost too good to be true, but its probably because chinese brands always are cheap and dont inflate prices and its coming out in india, if it was coming to US it would cost 2000 dollars or something
AnonD-695616, 14 Feb 2018It's probably low end HDR 400 It's hdr 10(10 bit HDR) as in note 8 and stuff... You didn't read the source did you?
krishjay, 14 Feb 2018with 3 x MI TV priceYes, they cost 3xMi TV price and also have quality 3xMi TVs. Specs say anything but compare Mi TV with those three brands' equivalent product, you will get to know why they cost more.
Sam, 14 Feb 2018I bought lg led tv 32 inch hd non smart for 20 thousand rs just 1 month back, now look at 40 t... moreYou are comparing a 20k TV with a 40k one? Compare a 40k worth LG TV with this and then talk. Paper specs won't matter.
aarbee, 14 Feb 2018Any specific reason to go for Sony instead of MI?QUALITY of panels and other materials used. Don't just think like "you are getting a 55" QHD TV for a nominal price! and automatically terming it as best of all".
AnonD-711239, 14 Feb 20184K HDR... But does it have wide color gamut to really benefit from HDR? It's probably low end HDR 400
Hmm, a 55-inch 4K panel for that cheap is likely to be quite bad quality-wise. For example, panel uniformity much be something really awful. Could be wrong too, yes.
But does it have wide color gamut to really benefit from HDR?
1. I hope they launch a 65" version, 120hz TV. That would be an ideal monitor replacement for people like me who's into multimedia consumption + Illustration.
2. Also, I would love to see an (iPad 12.9" + Apple Pencil) competitor in near future.
3. They have already launched ultrabooks in China. Hopefully, they launch something with 8th generation Intel CPU's.
P.S. Shall they not forget to put usb type-c for all devices now :)
