It is sad what has become of HTC !
Whatever the reasons may be, poor management decisions, low resources compared to competition or poor marketing, HTC was a pioneer and leader in the smartphone industry that everyone forgot. The HTC 10 and U11 were excellent devices.

It's hard to come back. HTC is a big company with family style management.

AnonD-715926, 14 Feb 20184MP Ultra Pixel camera, zero marketing, hideous pricetags. Been coming. Sony and LG up next. One M8 is one of the rare phones that I ended up selling after just one year. It was a nice portable music player for headphones, but the overhyped camera was just awful. GSM Arena also mentioned the camera not really being that good back when the phone was new. Bad decisions with stuff like this (and prices) lead them into an awful financial situation. Well played, HTC.

Hayaan Mo Sila, 14 Feb 2018MoFo Sony and LG are very far from dying like HTC. Don't believe me, look at how people react... moreIt doesn't matter how many people like XA2, XA2 Ultra or other devices no matter what sony does it wont be enough to take down or atleast hurt samsung and without that there is no way they will get profit but I really hope XZ Pro can be breakthrough Sony needs

Very Good,
He should have quit long time back.....
HTC makes durable phones. but each design they make is a flaw. I loved htc hardware but their design sucks. If they can find new young designers with new ideas. definitely they can beat Samsung.

Considering even that camera in u11+ in the sharpest 12mp shooter, with 3D flac audio, its a shame. Remembering 808, hopefully not the same fate.

HTC makes great phones with great audio quality & sexy design and i love my HTC One A9 but this situation on HTC explains why A9 only got Nougat and after that, not a single update. My security level is February 2017 :/ A9 should have got Oreo too!

Mario, 14 Feb 2018HTC will live, and their device will remain superb..But HTC 'might' never be the same as before. The one I used to know to offer excellent audio quality devices with superb designs and build quality, has just turned into a typical Chinese-like copycat.
